I think TK said it first 🙂‍↕️when Carlos was being silly and making TK’s day brighter even in the middle of the pandemic, his parents, and his dad’s cancer.

TK toooootally said it first when he was just watching Carlos in the kitchen. He murmurs a soft, fond ily and then Carlos sets down his spatula and kisses that man because he’s been holding back those words since basically the first day they met

TK’s eyes are the color of the stained-glass windows in the church Carlos grew up going to. He used to stare at them during mass, searching for answers. He finally found answers the first time he looked into TK’s eyes

Carlos’ eyes are the color of the hardwood floors in their home when the sun hits them just right in the morning and paints them in a golden glow. It’s the color of safety and warmth, of knowing his love is right there with him
