✮Part Two: Notice Me✮

Shaking slightly, Yachi slowly makes her way to Yn’s table. The rather large mugs of coffee she holds rattle on their saucers. As she gets closer she loses concentration on her steps as she focuses on the cups.

A meow is heard as she stumbles over Nookie. Gasps are heard as the warm coffee is spilled all over the woman in front of Yachi.

The blonde looks up from the floor petrified as she sees Yn’s white shirt covered in coffee. Coffee that she spilled. Her face flushes with embarrassment.

“Oh my god, I’m so sorry! Let me help you!” She says quickly setting the, now empty, cups down before running off to get napkins.

Yn laughs softly at the panic in the blonde girls actions. “You’re alright, darling. It’s okay.” She says as she wipes her shirt with the napkins.

“No, it’s not alright. I completely ruined your shirt. I’m so sorry” Yachi apologizes once again. “I’ll remake your drinks, on the house.”

Yn smiles at the girl. “Fine, but only because you offered.” Yachi nods and quickly walks off to remake the coffees. Meanwhile Oikawa and Nishinoya talk loudly about nonsense.

After they finish the drinks and leave, Yachi lets out a sigh. Still feeling the embarrassment of spill coffee all over the pretty customer.

She makes her way to the table they had been sat at and starts to clean up. She notices a napkin with twenty dollars under it. On the napkin is scribbled note reading, “text me” followed by a phone number and a smiley face.

✮Part eleven: Take It Off✮

The mix of laughs and shushes can be heard through the theater halls as Iwaizumi and Yn walk with quick steps. Who would have guessed that stopping at the store to get snacks would take so long. But the argument on what snacks ran a little long.

The lights in the theater have already gone down as the two shuffle their way through the isles. Apologizing to the people they pass by. Once they reach their seats they settle in. The opening credits for the movie begin.

Yn laughs as Iwaizumi tries to quietly take the boxes of candy from under his hoodie. Iwaizumi smiles at her.

“Here” he whispers as he hands the box of candy she picked out to her.

“Thank you, Iwa” she whispers back with a smile. Yn looks back to the screen as she opens the box of candy.

And they sit like that for the next 2 hours. With Yn’s eyes on the screen, and Iwaizumi’s on her.

Yn slips her phone into her back pocket before looking around. Her eyes search the area around her before landing on the blonde haired worker. She smiles as she starts to walk towards her.

“Hey” She says with a bright tone. The blonde girl pauses as she is moving chairs from what was once the crowd of a Q&A. Yn takes note of the way her eyes widen with shook before the girl smiles awkwardly.

“Oh, hello. Can I help you?” The blonde says in a slightly too high pitch. Yn shakes her head at the question.

“Oh no, I just wanted to introduce myself. I didn’t really get to talk before the whole book signing thing, I’m Yn” The shorter girl laughs softly, covering her mouth with her hand as she does so.

“It’s nice to meet you, Yn. My name is Yachi” she responds with a shy smile and a nod. The soft pink dusting the tips of her ears visible due to her short hair being pulled back in a loose ponytail.

“It’s lovely to meet you, as well. Would you like some help with the chairs?” Yn offers rolling the sleeves of her white button up.

“Oh no, you don’t have to do that!” Yachi says waving her hands in front of herself. Shaking her head in disagreement. Meanwhile, Yn has already started moving chairs from the crowd to tables around the cafe section of the shop.

“I offered, besides it will get done much faster if I help you” Yn says with a sly grin in Yachi’s direction. The blonde opens her mouth to argue but nothing comes out. Instead she continues to reorganize the shop alongside Yn.

After a few minutes the cafe was back to normal. Yachi turns to Yn, who is furiously typing on her phone. She watches as Yn sighs and slips her phone back in her pocket. “It was very nice to meet you, but my friends are yelling at me so I really do have to go now. Thank you for having me!” Yn says quickly as she begins to walk out of the store.

Yachi watches through the glass windows of the store as Yn’s supposed friends hit her shoulder and begin to walk off together.
