Bane inched forwards slightly as Alaric pulled away, not wanting the kiss to end yet. However, she couldn't help the small laugh falling past her thin lips at the boys words and the cheeky wink that followed. He was right though -- she was being awfully dangerous -- however, she knew that the moment she lost control of her abilities she wouldn't hesitate to pull away but right now, she just wanted to feel him. Another small giggle escaped from the girl as he lifted her up and placed her on his lap, lips instantly connecting with his once more as she smiled against the kiss.
He was pretty surprised when Bane let him deepen the kiss, but he was positively shocked when he felt hands - actual hands - sliding through his hair so easily. There was no fuzzy wool slicing mutely through his strands, but Bane’ thin fingers. Alaric’s mouth was off hers once he realized it, pulling back with a smirk and as he spoke his lips brushed against hers, “You’re being awfully dangerous Little Bird.” Even wit the close proximity of their faces he winked at her, showing his words were light and joking. Alaric’s hands found her sides, squeezing lightly before scooping her up to sit side-saddled in his lap, just so he could kiss her again.

Sure, she had been nervous the moment those three terrifying words slipped past her lips -- anticipating Alaric's reaction, scared of what it may be. However, the moment she saw his breathtaking smile she knew that everything would be okay. As Alaric pressed his lips to hers, Bane immediately noticed how different this kiss was from the previous ones they had shared although she didn't mind -- she had decided that every kiss with Alaric was something she would enjoy. As she felt his tongue move across her lower lip she parted hers without hesitation, her eyes closed as she peeled her mittens off her hands before allowing her fingers to run through his hair.
As she said those words back his heart soared, the widest smile he’d ever worn taking over his features. It was incredible, to love and be loved in return. Especially when it was with Bane. Alaric didn’t hesitate, leaning into kiss her as his hand cupped her cheek - a firm kiss, not very hard but a lot harder than the tender pecks they’d shared last week. His top lip slotted between hers, his eyes falling shut as he licked softly as her bottom pillow. He realized this might be too fast for her, but he just wanted to feel her…and he was never one to do anything without permission anyway.

Her eyebrows furrowed slightly at his question, almost as if she was deep in thought. "Wait here," she stated after a moment, walking towards the back of the store through the door that was marked employees only. Not like it mattered though, by the time the owner got back from lunch he wouldn't have the slightest clue. It took her a few moments of digging through boxes before she found the vinyl -- used, but it was still in pretty good condition, better than nothing in her opinion.
She held the album behind her back, walking up to him with a deadpan expression before a smile finally appeared the moment she revealed what she had found to him. "Here."

She was recommending a Dolly Parton album? It rang odd to him. She didn’t seem to be a Dolly fan—especially with that Doors album in her hands—but he supposed Dolly fans came in all shapes and sizes.
Jude sifted through a few of the tattered sleeves, looking for an album he didn’t have yet. He and his mother had quite the collection, but they were missing just one. The Country Queens album. He highly doubted they had it, but he at least wanted to try. “You don’t—erm—happen to have Country Queens, do you? My ah—my mother—wants it.”

Over the years, Jude had become excellent at hiding his true emotions -- as if he was wearing a mask for the entire world to see, portraying a man who was fun loving, sarcastic, outgoing, even a little cocky at times but always smiling nonetheless yet there was no denying the sadness that was visible in his sea green hues, especially at times when he spoke of Lucy. The bitter, sad, lonely and isolated man deep within him that always struggled to show. However, Jude wouldn't let it show, he knew that Lucy wouldn't want him to be sad -- the beautiful blonde girl who always brought a smile to his lips, he would smile, genuine or not because he knew that looking down on him, seeing him happy -- she would smile back. His eyes glancing down to where Amber had grabbed onto his hand before looking back up to meet her gaze. Although he didn't pull away, he simply held her hand in return, a whisper of an almost sad smile forming on his lips. "You're right," he exhaled with a nod of his head, "you have to stay strong for them, try to be happy becuase its what they would want."

He playfully rolled his green hues as a chuckle fell past his thin lips at her comment -- he would have to give her that one, Velveeta was much greater than Kraft and although he wouldn't say it out loud, if he was comparing Echo to the other women he knew, she would be the only Velveeta on the list and he was sure that there weren't many men who would disagree or think otherwise. “You might want to double check your definition of sly, princess,” he teased -- both their lines were horrible, but nonetheless they were amusing and going back and forth with her in such a way was rather enjoyable. “Rebellious, beautiful and a sense of humour just my type,” he teased, tongue running across his lips before he nodded his head. “Im sure,” he chuckled. “Gives me a chance to tease you some more.”

Her brows arched and she stuck her hands in her back pockets, smirking at him. “On a scale of Kraft to Velveeta, they’re Velveeta,” she deemed. And she would admit that she did enjoy the latter ten times more just for that reason alone. She laughed, meeting his gaze. “Oh, you think so? I’d say mine were pretty sly.” Nah, they were terrible, and she knew that they were. But she’d still mess with him. A nod of her head and then she pushed a hand through her hair. “Definitely. If you can’t tell, I’m actually the most rebellious one here.” She cast him a sly, teasing wink. Gaze shifted downward then with red cheeks and she shrugged. “You sure about that? You might have to stick around then and talk to me, and who knows how many more horrid pick up lines I’ll throw at you?”

{ Her lips purse slightly as she struggles to process just what he is trying to accomplish -- it seems as if her little game had turned into a new game, one the man seemed to prefer }
Then why did you do it first?

[ And a grin carves out across pale pink lips because this is oh so fun, and very very much funny. He was either hoping that she would cry or get angry and maybe if he is lucky, both. Crying is out of the question but judging by that delectable swear, it is confirmed that she is angry. ]

Now, now, swearing isn’t very polite little lady.
[ Way to be a motherfucking creep ass bitch, Satire. ]

"No, I-- I didn't mean it like that," the man had thought his tone had been playful enough for her to realize that he had simply been doing nothing more than teasing her, he'd hate for his words to be misinterpreted or taken the wrong way. However, as she began talking about being a fallen angel he wasn't a hundred percent convinced on her sanity any more but he figured, why would she be lying? "I'll believe you if you want me to," he answered with a shrug and surely he would -- no more doubts or questions of disbelief would come from his lips. "Well, God's kind of an asshole then, yeah?" He mused, taking a sip of his beer before offering her his hand to shake. "Jude."

- - - - - {{☁}} ”I’m not a lunatic!” Ridia quickly corrected him, grabbing the hem of her dress and twisting it tightly to get some of the excess water out of the garment, before her oceanic hues connected back up with his. “I’m a fallen angel, there’s a difference, I promise, not that you’ll exactly believe me.” It was rare that the girl offered up exactly what she was to humans but he gave off an aura of total sadness that almost matched the rain and for some reason gave her the reason that possibly she could trust him. People on Earth hadn’t been so loving to the little fallen angel but it was mostly due to the fact that she was history smart but not so much street smart. “I used to be in charge of the rain but God took it away from me, I’m Ridia.”

Gaining control of her powers had always been something Bane had wanted to do -- she just never had a reason to go through with it until Alaric came into her life. In a way, she did do it for him, but she did it for herself as well. "I did it for us" she admitted, emphasizing the word, a look of shock washing over her although it didn't last for longer than a second -- a wide grin taking over. She wasn't sure if he meant what she thought he did but she figured she might as well go ahead and say it too. "I love you too," she admitted truthfully.
He kissed her forehead a few times before she looked up at him, eyes large and full of apologies. But they were wasted on Alaric, he had already forgiven her a million times over. At first he wasn’t sure what she had been practicing, then it became clear. He swallowed thickly, sighing, “I hope you didn’t do that for me, Birdie. You know I’d love you no matter what.” Oops, didn’t mean for that to come out. But now that it had, was there any use in taking it back? Penny’s in the air.
#au: little bird#edwinsx#am i allowed to put his title as boyfriend on her relationship page now??? :D
