They had seen them arrive, looking pretty damn good for some kids that often preferred to be around arcades and games, and the rustic surroundings of the cave they gathered around together. That had been well a while ago, though Lihuén hardly noticed the time pass between their nerves and the ever approaching meeting. It almost felt like the time was mocking them at this point, ticking by impossibly slow. This time when they caught him again, he was by himself, looking more distracted than they knew the young werewolf to be. "Hey kid, all good?." They asked, a hand on his shoulder and a caring look on their eyes. "Something happened? You looking kinda... gloomy there."

She had come to the bar in the hopes of getting a proper drink, something stronger than the flutes of champagne some waiters were giving around. Something to calm her nerves before the so expected meeting. The presence of the other factions, foreign to the city and any agreement placed within (if any still stood) made her anxious. She could feel her wolf stirring within her and she needed to calm down.
What she found by the bar though, was even better than what she expected though, and she watched with amusement as the scene unfolded before her. An appreciative glint in her eyes and an impressed smile on her lips. "So should I ask you for me drink now?... I even think you'd do a better job."

Where: The bar @the Conclave
She could see the freezer full of chilled martini glasses. Could see the lady in her stunning dress asking for her martini to be overshaken and the imperious man behind the counter just wasn’t. He kept trying to hand a martini to her that had been under shaken and criminally underchilled.
It was a matter of pride with some bartenders not to overly dilute their martinis. But it seemed to be more a matter of making the woman wrong on the bartenders part rather than a matter of pride in the craft. A proper martini usually had the thin shards of ice at the top but that required effort and a lot of shaking. This man had been tormenting his customer for almost 20 minutes and Charlotte just wanted a gin and tonic. So she did something she should never do. She pushed her way forward and leaned forward to snatch the shaker out of the man’s hand.
2 minutes later and she placed a properly overshaken martini in front of the woman. With a nod of shared appreciation for never being heard, Charlotte turned to pick up a pack of fever tree, a bottle of Hendricks, and a thick goblet of ice as she went to do what this counter obviously didn’t want to. Actually make a drink someone wanted to drink.

There was some small part of her that wished her pack didn't actually have to be here, and maybe they didn't... not all at least, but a united front was better than anything, and Lihuén appreciated their presence more than she'd ever admit. Comforting presences in this sea of unknown faces and werewolves treading into forbidden territories. She wanted the night to be done already. Catching the girl, she wondered if Autumn felt the same. "Hey kid, how you doing there?." The question leaves her as soon as she's close enough, placing a soft hand on Autumn's shoulder to give a gentle squeeze. "Are you enjoying yourself?... none of the foreign wolves has bothered you, right?." She didn't think they'd dare start anything, but she'd still check on her pack anyway.

They were nervous, shaking almost really. Lihuén hadn't expected to become an Alpha so soon but death was sudden like this, and despite their former Alpha doing his best to instruct them as they grew, they still had little idea what this meeting with The Conclave could mean. They had been seeing members from the visiting packs, eying everyone around like they owned the place. It made their spine straighten and the look in their eyes harden. They only relaxed a little bit when their eyes settled on a fellow Alpha. They hadn't had the pleasure of meeting them but this was as good a place as any, so with a drink in hand, they moved closer, resting against the wall as they reached them. "Some event, huh?." Voice taking a soften note as they took a sip from their drink, enjoying the burning of the alcohol down their throat. "I'm Lihuén... Cerberus Alpha, you're Eventide's, right?."

Lihuén Nash at The Conclave Gala
If you asked them, Lihuén would rather be absolutely anywhere else that wasn't this place. Way too fancy for them. But they're an alpha now and as such they have a duty to their pack. They're here to represent Pack Cerberus in front of the other packs, covens and clans coming to the city and make sure no one messes with any of their wolves.

Alpha to Alpha. Never in the year she's had the position had Lihuén hated their former's Alpha passing as much as in this moment. It sounded like a joke of an excuse, if what they heard was right, Yuisa has been Alpha for almost as long as they've been. But they can't turn on the reasoning anyway, not when it involves one of their own.
So they turn, place the helmet they had already reached for back on the bike's seat and look at Yuisa with the same irritation they can read so clearly in the other's face.
They don't even need to ask which one of their pack she wants to talk about. Having heard of what happened already. But they raise an eyebrow anyway. "Since when are you so concerned about one of my own? A turned wolf? Sounds like the least of your cares."
Yuisa's expression bounces between something like frustration and irritation, not sure if she should be angry or surprised. Well today you fucking do. She says it like it's gospel. Her boots crunch across pavement, her hands folded over her own chest, eyes narrowed at the other woman.
She's been so fucking preoccupied with Avi's mess that she hasn't really... checked in with Lihuén since taking over Warwick. It's a stark reminder, then, just what had driven her in fueling up that ambition in the first place while she looks down her nose at the woman getting on her bike. "I'm not asking, Lihuén, this is me, head of a pack, coming to you, head of a pack. We need to talk. Alpha to alpha."
Because she has that chip to play now. She is Alpha now. She has weight to throw in, to ensure that this is bark that's backed up by bite. "Need to ask about some of your new blood."

They catch her scent even from inside the place, with all the debris and dust that rises from the destructions in the rooms. Lihuén could lit the place on fire, and above all the burn wires and wood, they'd still be able to pick Yuisa's scent apart. Her wolf's scent.
They've never tried to drag the closing of the place for so long, never had taken such meticulous care on any administration work, on ensuring every room was prepped and ready for opening the next day.
But it had to end at some point, they'd run out of tasks. And when they step outside, back turned to lock the keys, they still can't help but rest their forehead against the cold metal of the doors. Resigned, exhausted already.
The sigh that leaves them is just as heavy as they feel. "What do you want now, Echevarria? I don't really remember ever having to talk to you." They turn, arms closed.
"In fact, I've been doing pretty much the opposite." They walk down the entrance, moving to their own bike. "I'm shocked you're even all the way here, wouldn't want you to catch anything."
She's waiting for Lihuén when she comes out of The Den to lock it up for the night, leaning on the handlebars of her sleek black motorcycle, arms folded and head resting lazily atop them, as if she were already sporting black fur and curious yellow eyes.
She's no wolf though, not now. Right now she is just Yuisa. Just a concerned citizen. Just a woman of the people. Head of the dockworker's union. CEO of Echevarria shipping.
She's waiting for Lihuén, and she knows that the Cerberus Alpha will know she's here. It's hard for a wolf to sneak up on another, especially in these increasingly... divided times.
But that's why she's here, isn't it. To ensure that everyone's on the same page. When Lihuén does show up, Yuisa steps off of the motorcycle, unzips her leather jacket. "Nash." She calls out. "We need to talk."

He's new, they think, for the way he stands in front of the place looking almost kind of lost. He's new to this place at least, they're sure, they'd remember his face, and surely his scent, where a wolf lies calm under his skin. But even then, it's not a flashing warning light that comes to them at his sight, he doesn't look like a threat. Not one of Yuisa's then, and certainly not an ass, or he'd be forcing his way inside already.
They offer a smile, a soft jerk of their head to acknowledge his presence as they say goodbye too the last couple of friends that were having fun in one of the rooms. They only look back to him when they're done with the teens, looking for a place to let their anger out.
"Hey there, coming in to let loose?." The question is friendly, a welcoming smile on their lips. Trying not to come off intimidating even if their wolf is almost wishing to make his see they were in charge. They don't need that now, not here. "We have... special rooms, for all kind of folks."
