i love Mikhail Kalatozov’s Soy Cuba (1964) which is a masterpiece but haven’t check out any of his other work yet… still have The Cranes Are Flying (1957) banked to watch but never knew about Jim Shvante - this early doco from 1930… thanks to a friend for the heads up on this, will definitely hunt it down, love the images…
