I’m not a fan of Damon in general, but I don’t mind him being present. I don’t mind mentions of gore-ish stuff but don’t like reading about it in details either.

writer’s nook

i’m always looking for validation so i’m shamelessly putting my works as the pinned post of my profile. if you feel like reading stuff, here’s what i’ve written so far.

Green leather jacket - a very angsty fred weasley/hermione granger one shot i wrote while depressed and like, sixteen years-old. 

third time’s the charm - a klaus/caroline one shot. it was a gift for the christmas exchange thingy of 2021! plus, it had a beginning, a middle, and an end. which is more than everything else. it’s a soulmate-ish, red string of fate, reincarnation AU.

Genesis - a short little drabble which doesn’t mention any name in particular, but was written with klaus/caroline in mind.

Make It Rain - happy with how my klaroline work received attention and love, which i am constantly craving, i decided that, as an adult, i could now begin a multi-chapters story, stick to it, and finish it. i was wrong. i’m not despairing though, i do come back to it sometimes so the updates are more than sporadic, but i do update sometimes. it’s klaroline. and it’s angsty-ish.

you said it was a tragedy - still klaroline, but from Klaus’ POV. it’s not canon compliant because there is no mention of canon. it’s a one shot, which means it’s finished! and you can read it immediately and not despair at my unability to ever finish anything! 

Is It Over Now? - very obviously based on the taylor swift song (me? obessed with taylor? nooo), this is an overview of Hermione’s relationship with a “mysterious redhead” - though the tags will spoil it for you. open-ended, so it can be HEA if you so wish.

So Long, London - this songfic-y process really works for me, so... Hermione and Ron break up. Hermione reflects on it.

but seriously though i’m sick and tired of those masterposts that are like “here! A reference site on Greek mythology for all your needs! Look it has all fifteen Greek gods on it!” And I’m like. tHERE WERE LIKE HUNDREDS OF FIGURES IN MYTHOLOGY YOUR CRAPPY HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL BIBLIOGRAPHY SITE MEANS NOTHING TO ME 

if you want a basic outline of Greek mythology okay sure fine??? but like. if you want an extensive fucking reference site you are looking in the wrong goddamn places

as a self-declared greek mythology snob my reference site is fucking always this fucker right here. almost every single figure ever mentioned in a Greek text is on it, it has the most obscure gods, spirits, nymphs– it’s GREAT. You really wanna extend your mythological knowledge past the basic 12 and like four others? USE THEOI.  plus plus PLUS everything is cited so you can actually read the source material written about whoever it is you’re looking at.

fucking signal boost this. i’m so sick and tired of writer’s helpers blogs referring people to sites with as much information you would get from opening a third grade mythology book jesus chriiiiiist

Klaroline Fan Fic Recs

Hello friends I am back with some fics I have loved in 2022! Now I will say this is a lot smaller than last year and there are three reasons for this 1) I didn’t read as many fics this year (but I took my reading goal down this year so I will hopefully be back) 2) I had ~a year~ and just wanted comfort so I mainly just reread fics that I already loved and 3) Going back to ~a year~ I barely had the time or the energy to actually write out comments so therefore I didn’t want to start too many more. 

Anyway so if you haven’t seen my one from last year it is a lot longer and I reread almost all of them this past year. So, if you’re a writer on last years list or this years or just in general I appreciate you <3

I think authors underestimate how many people reread their works/chapters.

That’s why, when I’m rereading WIPs or old works, I always leave a comment. Just a little hey, I’m rereading this and it is still great goes so far, actually

ur favourite ao3 author definitely has to go back and reread their own stuff cuz they forgot major plot points in their own writing btw it's just a fact
