Some points, because yalls bad takes are becoming exhausting to read

EVERY SINGLE AVATAR did the best they could with the time, resources, and knowledge that they had. Yes, even that one. Wan? Did the best he could with the time, resources, and knowledge that he had. Yangchen? Did the best she could with the time, resources, and knowledge that she had. Kuruk? The same. Kyoshi? The same. Roku? The same. Aang? The same. Korra? THE FUCKING SAME. Pavi and Nisha? THEM TOO.

For the most part, none of the avatars outright hate each other, especially not the ones y'all are claiming would. Wan would not REMOTELY hate Korra for opening the spirit portals. Korra did not hate Wan for closing them. Kyoshi stopped resenting Kuruk when she found out he dedicated his short life to fighting dark spirits after his love's face was stolen by one. Aang did not hate Roku for the mistakes he made. Korra didn't hate Aang for his. Pavi will not hate Korra for "ending" the avatar cycle, at least when she learns how it happened. You have got to stop pitting the avatars against each other, because they are all reincarnations of one person, and they all understand, or learn to understand, each others' struggles.

Sometimes, just sometimes, society is responsible for their own damn problems. Sometimes the Avatar cannot be an omniscient god who solves all of their problems with the snap of a finger. The Avatar is a person, bonded with (a non god, non omniscient spirit) who is TRYING THEIR BEST OUT OF CONVICTION. Sometimes, humanity cannot rely on a singular figure to solve all of their fucking problems.

Everyone talks about how Appa is apparently obese for a sky bison and Aang is over feeding him. Undeserved in my opinion (hes just big boned obviously)

But nobody talks about how Druk (Zuko's dragon) is a complete fatass compared to other dragons.

For example: These are pics of Roku's Dragon, Fang, and Sozin's Dragon

Do you see how long and noodley they are. They're actual dragons too, not Wyverns like GoT dragons. (Note the 4 legs)

Ozai was a Complete BITCH compared to all of the Korra villains and even most of the villains in his own show and I'm sick of people talking about him like he wasn't

Zuko: the ever present threat, wherever Aang went, Zuko was 5 steps behind him, and you couldn't escape him or keep him down without killing him. If you were in prison, he'd break you out so he could capture you himself. If you blew him up, he'd survive. If you were in one of the most secret places on the planet, in the most inhospitable climate, he'd drag you out in the middle of the blizzard

Azula: the cunning one. Where Zuko would always follow him, she'd already be there waiting. Where Zuko was an attack dog, she was a spider, making traps and backing him into a corner. He was in the most Secure city on the planet, and by the time he figured out she was there, she already took control of the entire city, captured his best friend, and almost killed him and all the other avatars as a byproduct. If Ozai didn't psychologically break her, she could've ended him at any point

Hama: a manifestation of the effects the war has had on the world. She wasn't some fire nation flunkie who got off on beating kids in a fight, she was one of Katara's clan, she should've been their friend, she probably was their grandma's friend. But years of captivity warped her into a monster that didn't care about her clan or even taking the fight to the fire nation. She just cared about hurting and killing random harmless townsfolk and making sure her teachings lived on

Amon:The ideal. He wasn't just a guy, he was the manifestation of a war that we didn't even know was going on. So what if the war's gone, people will always hate those who are weaker or different. Even if the 4 types of benders are in harmony, the nonbenders still have intrinsically less power and less say than even a shitty bender. Even Aang ignored his nonbending son to support Tenzin. There is a problem and he is the solution

Unaloq:the trusted one. He's even worse than Hama in a way, because Hama knew the kids for like a day, Unaloq was Korra's uncle. She knew him, she loved him, she played with his kids. And most importantly, he was the only one giving Korra what she needed. When everyone else was brushing her off or giving her vague warnings, he was telling her about the problems going on, how to solve them, the origins of her powers even. And when she trusted him most, he betrayed her

The Red Lotus: the actual anti-avatar. instead of one being with all four elements devoted to order and harmony, they are four people, trained in the deadliest versions of their respective elements, and completely devoted to chaos. There is no big plan, just destruction and death. And most importantly, the death of the avatar. Because the avatar is order, is complacence. and they can't have that in their new world

Kuvira: the avatar taken to it's logical extreme. Korra is a big stick trying to fix problems, while Kuvira says "I have a stick, why not just make sure there are no problems in the first place?" It's not about power or revenge, she just hates messes, and the world is very messy right now.

Ozai: BITCH! LOSER! SCARED OF IROH SO HE WAITED TILL HE WASN'T EVEN ON THE SAME LEVEL OF EXISTENCE TO TRY FOR THE THRONE. SCARED OF HIS DAD SO HE FORCED HIS WIFE INTO KILLING HIM. SCARED OF ZUKO GROWING A SPINE TO GO ALONG WITH HIS MORALS SO HE SHIPPED HIM OFF BEFORE HE COULD BE A THREAT. SCARED OF HIS DAUGHTER SO HE BROKE HER LIKE AN ELEPHANT INTO NEVER DISOBEYING HIM. ONLY FOUGHT TWICE IN THE WHOLE SERIES, BOTH AGAINST ACTUAL CHILDREN, AND ONE GAVE UP, AND THE OTHER TIME THE CHILD WON EVEN WITH ACTUAL CELESTIAL POWER MAKING HIM TEN TIMES STRONGER.BITCH
