So I didn't listen to Lori, I did the opposite from staying out of the way and I texted Braxton. I have my reasons! "Hey cous!" My voice has never annoyed me so much in my life!

"You pretty pleased with yourself?" He smirks at my question, yes he is!

"What do you want Braxton? My girl is waiting in the hot tub for me and I can't be late!" Is it weird if I beat the shit out of myself? Because he's raising my blood pressure!

"Tell me about Freya!" I stare him out and see his body jerk at the mention of her name.

"Some girl I met, why?" He tries to shrug off my question with another half truth but I'm not having it!

"A pregnant 17 year old girl who is completely obsessed with you and wants to marry you! Yeah you kinda missed that part out...cous!"

"IT'SNOTMINE!!!" There he is, there's Braxton!

"That's not what she says, and I believe her because apparently the bruises on your face weren't because of me, obviously, but it was Freya's father who tracked you down and sent you a message. Am I on the right track?"

"You're not getting your body back, so forget it! Your life is mine now, pretty boy!" The way he spits out his words, he must really hate me and I don't know why. All I've ever done is be nice to him, I'm his little cousin and I wanted to hang out with him, be his friend as well as a relative. Where did this resentment come from?

"She'll figure it out eventually, you know that...right?" Hallie isn't stupid and she knows me inside and out, something will make her see, and then it's game over for him.

"I highly doubt that, there's been way too much body contact for her to think straight!" That smirk again, I hate myself so much! "By the way, now that I know your little secret, there is no way I'm going back to my old body! You're totally hung my dude, just another reason for me to hate you!"

"Yes I did notice the tiny little maggot in my underwear when I woke up this morning! Here's hoping you're a grower Braxton cause you sure as hell ain't a shower!" I don't get personal, I'm not one to point out another's inadequacies but Braxton always brings out the worst in me and makes me so angry. No excuses, but it is true that he's lacking in the peen department. Maybe that's why he's always so mean?

"Yep, older men and younger women, the morally corrupt and imbalanced power dynamic hardly anyone wants to call out! You're not going to get through to her Shawnie, those are not rose tinted glasses or contacts she has, they're corneas! Seriously honey there's nothing you can do!" That makes me feel so much better! Shit!

"Lori I really need you to try and make this happen soon, I understand the risks, I trust you to do it right but just...hurry?"

"I'll do my best!" She sighs impatiently, Loretta is a perfectionist and she was mentored by the great Esmerelda Croft who was the queen of perfectionists. Lori always does things by the book, every spell or potion she makes is done perfectly down to the last grain of salt...but my life depends on her getting this reversal done!

"Thanks, I really do appreciate what you're doing for me and I'm sorry that this has happened!"

I don't know why I feel so guilty about being seen with this Freya girl, maybe it has something to do with being in the body of her creepy way too old boyfriend! Like I said, the legal age where we come from is 16 but that doesn't make it right. Braxton is a predator, he's a groomer using his non existent pain over me being a pretty boy to lure this girl into bed! I mean what is that even about? He has no pain, I did nothing to him!

Does me dragging her down into the basement make things worse? Heck yes it does, but I don't want this all blowing up while I'm in Braxton's body. Freya has travelled from Nordhaven to find him, her dad seemingly went looking for him first and she panicked. Now I know why Braxton is all beaten up, if I was her dad I'd have done the same thing! "Is this your room?"

"No it's my broth-cousin Lance's room. He shares it with his girlfriend Loretta."

"Why are we hiding down here?"

"Because this whole thing is wrong! I'm too old for you Freya, you must know that, right?" She looks annoyed, uh-oh!

"What do you mean by this whole thing??? Huh?" Her voice has gotten very shrill all of a sudden.

"This should never have happened, and as the adult I take full responsibility, but I'm also ending it. I will be there for your child of course, but this is over."

"Ha! Very funny Braxton! I want a ruby engagement ring, it doesn't have to be expensive, I just want a ring okay?" She's a very naive young lady, no wonder he managed to take advantage of her, this is so wrong! "And this is our child silly, we made her together!" She's not going to go away that easily, and who can blame her? Braxton has a responsibility but instead he ran away!

"You're being really weird, why are you being so weird?" She's just a child herself, she's not even emotionally mature! I don't think she understands the severity of the situation, she's living in a fantasy world and romanticising her relationship with an older guy. What Braxton has done is disgusting!

"I'm still...so beat up, I need to lie down so can we talk later?"

"Sure, can I get a kiss?"

"Maybe later?" I really am gonna be sick!

"God you're so weird, I'll see you later then!" She sighs and saunters out the room.

Braxton thought he could hide out here after what he did, taking my body when the trouble he left behind followed him must have seemed like a good option. I can't deny that it's delayed it for a while, but Lori will get us back in our own bodies and he'll have to face up to this shit show eventually!

"So when I told you I was pregnant you said that we should get married and I said great because my dad is gonna flip and-"

"I said we should get married huh? Good for me taking responsbility!"

"Well you didn't exactly-it was me! I said you had to marry me because my dad was gonna flip and you said we'd talk about it later but then you left town and-"

"I left...town...right! My cousins invited me here for the summer and my mother was insistent I go because my cousins are nice guys and I've been an asshole my whole life, especially to Shawn and-"

"I'll be 18 in 5 months though remember? Just after our baby is born!" Like that makes a difference, what Braxton is doing, or was doing, with this girl isn't illegal in our part of the world...it's just extremely immoral and my skin-HIS skin-is crawling right now!
