Bumbleby fans did not push for their ship to be canon and the writers have already stated multiple times that they planned for bumblebee to happen since the beginning. There's a good amount of proof backing this so please educate yourself before falsely accusing a ship of being forced by fans when it's not. Because for one you don't have any proof to back your claims that it was "fans forcing them to become canon" because fans never did and two bumbleby happened because the writers wanted it to happen and they stated so multiple times. Plus it's hypocritical to think fans weren't as loud in wanting Renora to be canon and kiss when fans were and you aren't calling them forced now are you.

But fyi LGBTQ+ relationships are no different than hetero relationships. Stop acting like lgbtq+ relationships can't happen unless it's due to fan demands when lgbtq+ ships can grow and develop like any other hetero relationship, especially when the writers already confirmed that they planned for bumbleby to happen.

Bumbleby fans are no different than every other shipper in the fandom who wants their ship to be canon. We're all vocal and we all get into fights over which one will be canon. Not too long ago I saw a whiterose shipper going after whiteknight shippers and making a whole thread about taking down whiteknight shippers or what not and I've also seen plenty of Lancaster shippers being very vocal since volume 1 about Lancaster being canon. So just because bumbleby is actually canon does not mean it was because of fans or that the writers were using Jaune to make fun of bumblebee shippers when it was a harmless gag not meant with any malicious intent because again the writers wanted them to be canon and planned for their romance to be long just like renora's. Bumbleby fans just got the luck of the draw much like Renora fans did. Plus if it were true that they forced them to become canon then bumbleby would have been made canon way sooner than 10 years just saying

So if you don't like bumblebee just say you don't and move on. Stop giving double-standard reasons when you don't have a problem with Renora's relationship or their pacing

Someone tell me did they make Jaune randomly a decade older for a few episodes just so they could make the ‘I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for that’ joke since he’s now waited the same amount of time as the fandom instead of the in-universe two years

You do realize Renora took just as long to become canon if not longer because we're still waiting on them to actually be official bf and gf unlike bumblebee who is official so shuuut up lol. I swear bee haters are a broken record, everything isn't about hating bumblebee I promise you. The comment Jaune made was harmless and a fun gag so grow up.

The main reason Jaune was old was for him to have an arc in the ever after and be the knight of the story in the book. His role was to relay the information on what actually happened in the story to team rwby so that they weren't deceived by the curious cat. Plus it was also him dealing with what happened with Penny alone and how he dealt with the guilt by himself
