losing it over chrollo/paku in this, the year 2025
Because what do you mean that one translation holds that Pakunoda's only restriction on her nen was that she would never touch Chrollo, the person that she loved most? That she would never get close to him just on the off chance she "hurt" him by using her nen on him to access his memories?
And what do you mean that we still don't know exactly what type of bond they had? Were they found family, the only type of family available to them in Meteor, siblings closer than blood? Were they simply incredibly close friends who cared more for each other than anything else? Was she in love with Chrollo and was it reciprocated? How much did he know of this restriction of hers and why?
And her spot in the Troupe is still unfilled??? Possibly years later?? When Hisoka's was filled almost immediately and Uvo's too?
Cannot stop thinking about Chrollo and Pakunoda. I'm losing my mind over this.

Me: it's 2025, i can't be wounded with paku lore anymore
Hxh manga: paku's nen ability was so impressive because she either had a restriction against using it against anyone she loved or just chrollo
I'm unwell

For me, the best part about learning why Xibalba made the snake staff (reasons being self sacrifice and love for his wife) is that it seems all noble but he primarily uses the staff to cheat on wagers and be a general menace.
He is always in character and that character is absolute bastard and i LOVE THAT

I love Manuela cuz like she kinda a hoe and I vibe with that. She got stabbed, nearly died, and went out for revenge saying quote “turns out I get QUITE angry when I’m stabbed”. Has passed out drunk around the monastery on several occasions. Cries to everyone available abt her love life.
But at the same time she has such like, genuine aspects to her character. She loves the arts and cares deeply for poetry, encouraging Lorenz to share poems he kept only to himself. She cares so much about her students like all remarks aside she’s shown lamenting after large battles that “students being brought back from the brink of death aren’t the same. It changes them. That’s when they learn if they have the strength to ever go back to that brink of death. We can’t let any of these students lose hope.” She’s shown to be upset at losses, wishing there was more time in war for her to evacuate wounded troops off the battle field and save them back like she did with students in mock battles, but in war she has no choice but to leave some to die. She’s shown to be willing to take life without it phasing her but life is something she cherishes. She left her opera career behind because she knew it wouldn’t last forever and she wanted to decide her fate rather than fall out of the lime light. She believes in Seiros’ teachings but says she doesn’t leave her fate to the goddess, if she wants something she has to work tooth and nail for it and that’s just what she’ll do.
I just.I really like Manuela.
Anyway here’s Manuela after waking up from a hangover
