Recently, I have been looking at events with the stunned look of an awakened Cesare the somnambulist. She/her, 18+, great procrastinator, mythomaniac, heretic. Posts a lot of Conrad Veidt, the band Ghost and Tobias Forge, David Bowie, Severus Snape (Harry Potter fandom), etc. I immediately, without warning, block all bloggers who post anti-semitic messages or comments.

What I like about Connie other than his magnetic gaze, smile, intelligent forehead and overally his talent and person, is the way he stands, his shoulders. They kind of speak to me of his humility that makes him a great person, they speak to me of inner struggles and intensities inside his own being. This is very visible especially in his Jafar role. The way he walks, so weary, so without any pomp or glamour, he has a heavy step, and that eye color of his, and the soft / bitter smile and his hands full of soul - just a lovely man.

Oh yes, I also bow to the Secondo era and Infestissumam!

I rarely talk about him, but if there’s one thing I’ll admit Secondo is unmatched at, it’s his entrances. He knew how to make an entrance, for sure.
Here are some examples:
I consider this the best performance Ghost has ever done. The cameramen here were either fans or just really knew how to do their job, because every second is so well shot. Papa’s entrance doesn’t need any introduction, it’s above anything else they’ve done since, in my opinion.

There’s no concert like a South American concert. It feels so good to hear the crowd singing louder than the music. Since Infestissumam / Per Aspera ad Inferi is my favorite song (and album opener in general) from Infestissumam, this performance definitely belongs here.
The drums starting at 2:54 always blow me away. What a powerful way to open a show…

In general, his entrances always had this “I have the biggest dick in town” energy—and I live for it.

I love that he didn’t need much to command the stage, just walking in with his scepter was enough, and the music he made really complemented his aura. I always say Infestissumam sets the perfect atmosphere.
You have no idea how much I would have thrived in that era.
