Luis Lopez x Reader
Disclaimer/Summary
This is the first fic I've written in a long time, so bare with me a little.
(Spoilers if you haven't played or finished gta: the ballad of gay tony)
Anyways, You are a bartender at Maisonette 9. You often see Luis standing around the club, throwing people out, and occasionally heading upstairs to 'talk' to Joni. One night as you and your coworker are closing the bar for the night, Luis comes over to have a little chat.
Warnings: Dirty Talk (Maybe? Luis is just being kinda freaky)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nights like these were always the worst. Drowning in drink orders, arguments about the prices, and countless threats over a beer. The only good thing to come about theses nights is probably the tips, and the free entertainment from snooping in on peoples conversations.
You and you coworker, Felix; a sassy man who might also be a drug dealer, finally got a moment to breathe after serving the last of the current drink orders. You decided to spend whatever minutes of a grace period you get to clean up any small empty shot glasses. As your back is turned away from the left side of the bar, you look up from the shot glass in your hand and get a glimpse of Luis. He was the bouncer for the club, always standing around, getting onto people, and sometimes having to throw people out of the club.
You've only ever had to call Luis over to the bar once, it probably would have been more times if people stayed at the bar when they got their drinks (and got drunk), but instead they'd venture off to other places to sit, or places to stand around aimlessly with friends.
As you glance over at Luis, you realize he was already looking at you, and he had quickly looked away the moment your gazes met. You too looked away as well, not wanting to keep up awkward eye contact when you could be washing glass. As you finish cleaning your second glass two gentlemen walk up to the bar, One of them looking like they just got about twenty steroid shots to the bum, and the other looking like one of those stereotypical European guys.
Luckily for you, Felix had decided to take on these guys orders, and the moment you heard the stereotypical European speak, you realized he was in fact from Europe. You weren't sure where from Europe, you'd never been so how would you know...As you tried to listen more into what the other guy sounded like, you noticed two more people step up to the bar and now you had to take their order. As you and Felix are working on the drinks you try to listen in on any conversations from either parties, hoping to have something to gossip about to Tony later incase he came by the bar later.
Closing time couldn't have come any sooner. Luckily you didn't have to see anyone getting thrown out today, even if it was a good source of entertainment. Felix and you were cleaning up the bar and occasionally making conversations about the night. Normally you two chatted quite a bit and engaged in some pretty fun conversations, but tonight was so mentally draining that you and him just decided to stay quiet for a majority of closing. As you are yet again back to the mediocre task of cleaning shot glasses, you hear someone take a seat close by. You swiftly look over, silently praying it's not some drunk guy trying to squeeze in another drink for the night. Luckily for you it was not that, instead it was Luis Lopez.
"Oh- Hey" you say, looking at Luis and then looking back at the glass in your hands, trying to scrub off any weird residue before setting it aside for Felix to put in the dish washer.
"Hey" Luis spoke. He looked tired, probably a little irritated as well, who knows; it was hard to figure out that man sometimes. Felix walks over to where you are and grabs something before walking out of the bar and going to Tony's office, leaving you and Luis alone.
You glance over at Luis again and just like the hour prior; you caught him already looking. You shifted your gaze away again and take another glass to scrub "Rough night?" you ask him.
Luis shrugged "No, just long" He rubbed his eyes slightly "You don't think you could slide me a coke or something?" He looked over at you from his spot at the bar.
You look at him and give him a nod "Yeah, just don't tell Tony" you say before grabbing a clean glass (at least you hopped it was one of the clean ones) and using the bar gun to dispense some coke into it. You set the glass Infront of Luis and look at him again "Hey- I've been meaning to ask you-" As you start talking you grab another hopefully-clean glass and put some water into it "Where do you go when you go towards the offices?" You asked
"What do you mean?" Luis asked, taking a sip of his drink.
"I mean, No other bouncer comes out to take over, and your gone a bit" You take a sip from your water before letting out a tired sigh 'Where do you go?"
"Oh that, I just go take care of some business with Jodi" He looks down at his drink before looking back at you
"Jodi?' you ask "The lady who's always wearing the pink dress?"
"Yeah, Her" Luis takes another sip, finishing the drink off oddly fast "She's fine, she interrupts my work sometimes but its not a bother" Luis adjusted in his seat.
"Interrupts you work, how?"
"Eh, its nothing" Luis smirked slightly,
"C'mon, tell me" You tease, giving him a smile.
He looks at you, his gazed shifting to something you couldn't really read "it's just...private stuff" he says, leaning back as he looked at you
"Private you say?" you cross your arms and lean onto the bar counter slightly, trying not to let out an ever so slight nervous giggle
"Yeah, real private" Luis said, shaking his head and looking down at his lap before letting his gaze come back to you "Maybe if you ever need a private moment you can come find me..."
"Oh really? and what exactly happens in a private setting with you?" You ask.
"Plenty of things" he shrugs "Enough to relax you for the remainder of work"
"Oh really? I guess I should try some private stuff with you huh?" You smirk slightly. You knew Luis' reputation, and it couldn't help make make you curious about what made him so popular amongst all the women in Liberty City.
"Maybe we could grab a drink at another bar sometime" Luis said, leaning forward. resting his arms on the bar "Maybe go somewhere private after?"
"Hm, Ill take you up on that offer" You lean towards him a bit.
Before the two of you could do anything else, Felix comes back with Tony. The two looking at you and Luis. Tony then points at Luis "Hey, stop flirting with the employees" Tony said as he sat down next to Lou.
"We weren't flirting, just having a friendly conversation" Luis shrugged
"Well don't get too friendly" Tony let out a chuckle "Anyways I wanted to come by and say good job tonight, And you" Tony points at you "Your free to go home, Felix can handle everything else over here"
You nod "Alright, see you guys tomorrow" You say as you make your way out of the bar.

First Post
Hello, this is my first actual post on tumbler. I've had this account for years but never actually had the guts to post. I'll be posting things like Fanfics and a bunch of fandom stuff (including oc's (ik, cringe.....). I hope what I can write up is at most alright.
