Sirius: If being hot was a hate crime, I'd get a life sentence
Marlene: A life sentence? For a crime you didn't even commit?
James: Nice one, McKinnion

in the hp reunion robbie coltrane says he is aware that in 50 years he won't be here anymore but hagrid will. that moment was so indescribably heart-wrenching because he was so unapologeticly honest. it is sad to think about it & on the same hand it gave me a feeling of comfort and love & it made me sob like a baby for the rest of the reunion.

Sirius - In retrospect
Sirius was forced to be there. He did not want to, but locking himself in the room or running away was no longer an option. He really hated to believe his brother. Believing he needed his help.  Believing that he really had to leave his room for that help. He hated not knowing this spell he was under and not being able to break it. That he had fallen for the perfect son once again. He vowed to himself that this would be the last time this would happen.
But the thing he hated most was that it got him stuck at this party. Surrounded by his whole family. Surrounded by his notable pure-blood wizarding family. Surrounded by representatives of values and thoughts that were so far from his own. Of witches and wizards whose greatest common ground seemed to be their rejection of Muggles and Muggle-Born.

November 1, or the day Sirius Black came to Azkaban. Two days before his 22nd birthday, saddened to death to have lost his best friends, to have had to give up his godson and to have failed so badly in the fight against evil that now everyone thinks he is one of the bad guys. Not to forget the feelings of guilt, because he had proposed to change roles... By the way it's november. A great time.

Do you also sometimes think Lily and James have been dead for so long. Surely already 17 years and then you notice that it is already 2021 and Lily and James died in 1981. That means Harry's parents have been dead for 40 years. And Harry is not 18 year but 41 years old 😳😳😳

Or maybe the boggart remains with the form of the last thing it turned into. Maybe it doesn't have a "true" form.

Christmas was coming. One morning in mid-December, Hogwarts woke to find itself covered in several feet of snow. The lake froze solid and the Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed Quirrell around, bouncing off the back of his turban.

Snow was swirling against the icy windows once more; Christmas was approaching fast. Hagrid had already single-handedly delivered the usual twelve Christmas trees for the Great Hall; garlands of holly and tinsel had been twisted around the banisters of the stairs; everlasting candles glowed from inside the helmets of suits of armour and great bunches of mistletoe had been hung at intervals along the corridors.

"Sirius was a brave, clever and energetic man - and such men are not usually content to sit at home in hiding while they believe others to be in danger."

Forced to control himself, Sirius went around the party round by round. Always fast enough not to get caught up in conversation, but slow enough not to attract his mother's attention. He didn't want to give them the joy of treating him as a little boy because he lost his temper and couldn't even think straight.  He did not want to act according to their expectations. There were only  453 crosses missing  on his calendar until he was of age. He would still bear them to show that he was stronger than them. To show the Order that he was mature enough for the resistance.
He went around and around until a few words caught his attention. While listening he froze. "They teach defense against the dark arts, but not dark arts. As if the danger comes from the great wizards who are capable of the dark arts. The real danger is the weakness of our blood due to the marriage with mudbloods. Or worse, Muggles," cousin Bellatrix said to his brother, laughing. To his little brother, who was already being pushed by his parents in a direction that Sirius did not like. He swallowed briefly and tried to stand upright. Convince with words, not volume. "I have not yet seen a Muggle attack a witch or wizard. Or harm them in any way comparable to what you and your friends do to others for fun." Sirius looked around. His brother and his uncle Alphard were standing there, too. "Open your eyes, little cousin. Muggles do much worse things to one another. Mixing our blood with such lower beings only weakens us. To equate them with us only makes us expendable." Sirius looked into the eyes of his brother and uncle. No one seemed to want to contradict Bellatrix. He shook his head. It always looked so easy to convince others with words.
"Muggles and Muggle-Born are no threat to us. On the contrary, the ingenuity of Muggles to compensate for their lack of magic might be an example of ..." "Example?" Bellatrix laughed. "For what? We must hide. Restrain. Being pushed into the shadows of this world. And now we're supposed to learn something from these uneducated, weak beings? I thought Gryffindor stood for courage, not stupidity." Sirius felt his heart beat faster. His eyes became narrower and narrower and he could only perceive Bellatrix, who was giving him her terrible laugh. His hand twitched in the direction his magic wand would normally be. Before he could open his mouth, his uncle put an arm around his shoulder. "Children, children. I have been in this world long enough to tell you that some discussions should be ended before words become hate." Alphards easily pushed Sirius in another direction. But Sirius did not want to leave yet. He didn't want to let what was said stand. "Sirius, I'm sure we were interrupted last time and wanted to continue our discussion about the need to prohibit magic for underage Wizards,” his uncle tried one more time. Sirius stared into the eyes of the still laughing Bellatrix, who turned away and went off to another group. "Wizards and witches with her views should also be pushed into the shadows in our world," he growled.
"You should be grateful for your family. For the name Black, which gives you protection in these times. For their money that gives you your Muggle-loving lifestyle." Regulus turned away from him and left. And it was these words that made his life pass him by. Not with all the beautiful moments, but with all the moments when his family gave him protection. Protection from a life full of support and love. Protection from all the things and family members who were actually dear to him. Protection from his life the way he wanted to live it. He saw the money in front of him that he would never have. All the times he had to beg to get something important. All the times he had to exchange something to get something he really wanted. Because he would never get money to buy something from the Muggle world. How he saved every knut to be able to afford something. To leave this life behind in 453 days. In retrospect, this was the moment when he gave up controlling his temper in front of his family. In retrospect, this was the moment when he saw in his brother someone who would follow Bellatrix. In retrospect, this was the moment when he knew that he would not wait 453 days. In retrospect, this was the moment when he knew that he would leave his family behind and never return to this house.
