PSA - Indefinite Hiatus

Okay, so, hello followers of mine. It's been a while. I haven't been on here in a whopping two weeks and it's been much longer since I've actually been active. Three months or so, I think. The one-year anniversary of this blog is in four days and I've come to the conclusion that this blog is in a hole that it's probably not going to get out of. My muse is in that place at this point, at least.

Now, you may be wondering; why didn't I say anything earlier? Well, the idea of losing my little Alphonse hurts me greatly, and I didn't want to say for sure that he was never coming back. But, at this point, that seems to be the case.

I've realized now that being on this blog feels more like a chore than like a fun activity like it used to be. That isn't to say that it never will be again, but it seems like, at this point, it might be that way for quite a while. Also, trying to be active here seems like a half-hearted effort to me at this point. I'm not even sure if anyone would want me to try. But, that's not something to dwell on.

What I'm saying here is, I think I'm going to be putting this blog on an indefinite hiatus. Harsh, right? And awfully sudden. But I just don't have the time, the muse, or the interest to try and spend time here when it's not even that much fun anymore. I'm keeping the blog, though, and I might come back eventually, but for now, I think it's gone. 

I made a new rp blog yesterday, and I'm planning on being there semi-often, so if you still want to roleplay with me, I will be here. And if you just want my random shenanigans on your dash, I will be on my personal blog, which is here. I'll be there pretty often, almost every day, so if you need me or still want to keep in touch, that's where you'll find me.

I'm so sorry, everybody. I hate to do this. I really do. I'm not sure if I'll be missed, but if I am, I am so, so, so, soooo sorry. Bye for now, I suppose. I love you guys, I really do.

        Alphonse lifted his head and looked up at his older brother, blinking and quietly observing his face. "It's okay." He smiled. "You've got work to do. It's fine if you get carried away. That means you're having fun, right?"

       He closed his eyes as his hair was ruffled. But, at his brother's offer, his face lit up. "You mean it? We can do that? Really?" His brother had to be pulling his leg, right? He was always so busy! But his brother wouldn't lie to him, so he had to be serious.

Ed sighed softly before reaching over. Very gently, he tried to uncurl his brother from the curled, little ball he’d turned himself into, “You don’t disturb me coming in here wanting some company. You never do.” he wanted to reassure his brother. The little boy was pulled into a hug as he smiled down at him, “I’m sorry it was lonely out there. I didn’t mean to be in here so long, I got a little carried away.” he ruffled the boy’s hair a little bit, “I’ll tell you what, I’m pretty much all caught up on everything I wanted to try and get done for a while now, so how about for tomorrow, you and me just hang out for the day? No time in the office all day.” they hadn’t had a simple “fun day” in a while, it was making him feel a little bit guilty. He missed getting to spend a bunch of time with his little brother anyways.

       "Okay, good." Alphonse wrapped his arms around his little brother's middle gently and hugged him close. He hadn't thought that Liam would worry about him being lonely, but if he was lonely before, he definitely isn't now.

      "No need to worry about scaring me, Liam. I'm your big brother, remember? Nothing scares me!" He smiled and laughed a little, pretending to be the tough guy older brother that he really wasn't.

"You're warm."

            Alphonse had been quietly reading on the couch for quite some time, and he had thought himself to be alone in the room. Until he felt a pressure against his side, and he looked down to see his younger brother snuggled up next to him. Al smiled and ruffled the younger boy’s hair.

           ”Oh, good, it’s you. You scared me for a second there.”

             He's curled up on the couch, half asleep and shivering slightly. He's a little lonely, but he won't admit to that, nor does he plan to do anything about it. At least he's home now and not being harassed by those mean bullies anymore...
