Sunny. This blog consists of Doctor Who and its univserse. You also might find some Sherlock Holmes. Other things may appear but if so it most probably will be an exception.

Okay. Not sure if anyone is interested in this, but I mostly did it for me anyway. I fixed most of the links on the desktop page of this tumblr and on the tag index pages. Most of the links should work now. The only thing I didn't touch is the listing of Doctor Who serials and episodes. I'll leave that for another day. But all the links to the different incarnations of the Doctor and to the companions should work now. And my sidebar and background gif are now directly linked again.

It’s been a while. Okay, it’s been a long time since I’ve been active on here. But I’m still around occasionally. So, recently, I got back into writing and created a side blog to share my fanfics (or at least promote the links to AO3). Sometimes, I also use that blog to reblog challenges and some beautiful art.
And that’s the main reason for this post. I’m thinking of following some accounts and no one will know who I am without announcing it on main.
It’s mainly fanfic for a different fandom than the ones on @littleappletree. Actually, it might have taken me almost a decade, but I always knew I would end up in that fandom as well. After all, my most active time on tumblr was from the end of 2010 to 2012. And if you find Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes on this blog, there’s a logical conclusion what the other fandom might be.
So, if you are into Destiel and Supernatural, feel free to check out @seidenapfel. If not, don’t worry. I won’t post anything about it here.
And if you are interested in a little Six & Jamie fictlet I once posted on this blog, you can find it here.

After all that time off, just a short reminder that I’m still around – from time to time. (My internet doesn’t like tumblr at all ‘cause it’s far too slow and so I lost track and interest in logging in. And that’s only one of many reasons…) However, athough it’s not Doctor Who related, I really like to recommend this advent calendar to you, especially since I had the pleasure of seeing all three performers presented so far (2nd to 4th December) on stage this year.
I'm aware it's already the 5th and there is another post at Nuersel’s but don't ask me why it took me so long just to reblog this post. It's the story of my relationship with tumblr and the internet in general...
youtube
Hey guys, Christmas is knocking at the door, so it’s time for my advent calendar. Regarding the fact that I am very busy (as you know… ;) ), I can’t give you a calendar full of my own videos like I did last year.
Instead, I thought about what the calendar could look like this year. And after so many thrilling moments of musical and getting to know respectively see again so many wonderful performers on stage (and off stage ;) ) this year, I decided to share some videos to introduce my favourite performers (respectively those who thrilled me) to you.
And sure, I couldn’t resist to make some videos though. ;)
As there are so many wonderful performers, too many to dignify, I had to choose some. And I’d loved to link some others, but I couldn’t find adequate material.
So, as starting into it, today a little ice flower bouquet, giving you a little glance on who may come across you within the next weeks.
Hope you’ll enjoy it.
Liefs and a wonderful advent season
Nuersel
PS: Order and frequency of the performers have nothing to say about my preferences.

I mean, recovered Troughton. Wow. Seriously, though I haven't watched or, better to say, because I haven't watched them yet (I'm waiting for the DVD and might even wait a bit longer. There are still lots and lots of Who DVD on my to buy list.) it hasn't sunk in completely. I loved both, The Web of Fear and Enemy of the World when I listened to them and there were so many scenes where I wished I was able to see them. And now it's possible. Wow.
What can I say to The Light at the End? It's great, wonderful. I never knew how much I wanted Four and Eight together. However, I need to listen to it again cause I only listened to it once. Then again, technically I'll only get the audio for my birthday. So I already bend the laws a bit to avoid spoilers.
Which is the right word for The Night of the Doctor. Before I watched it I read about McGann. But that didn't took the joy away. Although I knew he would be there, seing Eight was/is something I had never believed to become true. There are still mixed feelings (I mean he's back to regenerate after a few minutes and mentions his companions which makes me happy and sad at once.) but - I've forgotten what I wanted to say...
However, back to square one and the reason why I haven't posted any reaction at all. That's quite simple. I have a secret identity, I mean a secondary blog for friends where I have no followers and therefore nothing to care about (It's not only Doctor Who. There are Avengers around, inhabitants of Baker Street, people from Westeros, Sunnydale, the crew of Serenity and others.), which might change now. There are no original posts, though, only reblogs and the tagging system is a bit strange and lacks of individual thoughts and comments. I wanted to change it but I wanted to do many things (like posting new gifs and, moreover, start to make some new gifs to able to post them) and haven't done them yet.
I still haven't abandoned this tumblr, though. I'm just a bit busy and spend my spare time with other things than making gifs at the moment. One day it might change again. Until then I might post some thoughts from time to time and reblog some stuff on my other tumblr.
Thank you to all of you who are still following me, despite the lack of new posts.

October 07: Favorite episode?
Although it's such a difficult task to choose just one (again), The Five Doctors will always be very high on the list since it never fails to make me happy. How could it not? It's a multi-Doctor story and I love them all.

October 06: Which cast/crew member has the best twitter?
Since I don't have twitter and follow any accounts I can only judge by the posts I see on tumblr. Out of them I pick Colin Baker.

October 05: Who is your favorite Companion?
How am I to choose one or two favourites out of so many? For me it's impossible. Every TARDIS team is different but they are all great. And so are the companions on their own.
Of course, I could start at the beginning and list everyone I love more than others. Though I don't think the list wouldn't be really that much shorter.
I also could count the tags on my blog and look which companion has the most entries. Jamie? The Brig? Probably it would be a New Who companion just for my first months on tumblr where I hadn't started with Classic Who.
And then there is Big Finish, too. If I can't choose "my" Doctor out of Eleven (plus x) how am I supposed to choose one out of 60 or 70 companions? Remember this? It had 45 companions pictured.
I could split the companions into groups and pick my favourites. From the doctors I would choose Harry Sullivan, Martha Jones and Evelyn Smythe. From the nurses Hex Schofield and Rory Williams. From UNIT the Brig, Benton, Mike and Martha, again. Favourite companions from the past - that actually is an easy one - Jamie, though there are also Charley and Erimem. From the future: Jack, Zoe, Vicky, Steven...
In the end, I would go on and on and still miss too many on that list(s) just to realise I don't have a favourite companion.
