my character is allowed to have feelings. if my character somehow falls for yours, whatever reason; it does NOT mean i am FORCING a ship on you. it means they develop a crush or fall in love with your character, and i really should be allowed to do so. it does not mean that you have to make your character love mine. it doesn’t mean anything. it just means my character likes yours and thats what it is. this is also a message saying that it’s completely okay that YOUR character has feelings for mine, and if the feeling isn’t mutual, you’re gonna have to stick with that. i don’t control my character’s feelings, no matter how strange that sounds.

Goes to take a selfie but there is a cheeky peace sign behind Hikari's head. "Kaa-chan will like this one," he says, turning it around so that his sister can see. But he quickly moves the phone so she can't grab it out of his hand.

Hikari frowns slightly, quickly trying to move back closer to his brother. Something’s not quite right. “Can I see it again?” She asks, standing on her tiptoes to try and look past Taichi’s shoulder.

She could’ve picked up that voice in a crowd; not just that, but that particular tone as well. With an amused smile tugging at her lips, Emmeline turns to her friend and, as expected, finds quite the exasperated face, which just makes her chuckle a little - let the record show she did try to repress it for the most part. What she cannot contain is the playful roll of her eyes at his plea for help, and so her hands start moving almost overlapping his last word. One of the great things about knowing Gideon for so long was not having to be too self conscious of her signing. ‘Aren’t pastels a welcome change from the bright signs of New York?’ She makes she slide of her hand in New York a bit longer, almost emphasizing it. However, before really waiting for a reply, her index fingers cross and swiftly separate right on his line of vision. ‘But - I’ll be your princess in shining armour.’ Her grin is back on full swing almost immediately. ‘Wanna go exploring?’

“Oh, thank god.” Finally, a familiar face that isn’t his sister; as much as he loves morgan, her reception to his new year at auradon is way too much ( especially for someone who doesn’t quite share her enthusiasm ). Gideon lightly jogs over to meet Emmeline, letting out a sigh of relief once he reaches her side. “So glad I found you.” Though he doesn’t need to use sign language, it’s become somewhat of a habit over the years, to accompany his words with it when speaking to Emmeline. “I’ve been here for an hour and I’ve already seen enough pastel colors to last me a lifetime, thanks to Morgan.” The exasperated look on his face is a little exaggerated, but he hopes she won’t fault him for it. “HELP.”

heya there !! just a small announcement that my activity has been much more compromised as of late since not only finals are upon me (literally in two damn weeks) but also i’ve started working already, doing full shifts since the first day. so my free hours got considerably reduced and i gotta make use of that free time to study as well, so. i’m still gonna be around and lurking but not writing too much? and even then i might prioritize the threads/asks im having the most muse for. that being said, if anyone wants to drop threads or something, feel free to do so ! no hard feelings whatsoever. and to those who want to wait, thank you for your patience !

The sheepishness that comes over her doesn’t go unnoticed, yet he chooses not to remark on it; he’s teased her plenty as it is, and he doesn’t want to push Evva too far. So he lets it slide, chooses to focus on her next words instead. “I’m offended you’d think I have such ulterior motives.” Robin feigns offense, arms crossed to his chest; it’s a theatric that lasts only for a moment, before he breaks character and leans a little closer to her. “That being said, thank you for not ratting me out.” He smiled. “Even if you’re not really doing anything wrong? You’re just here talking to me.” The part where she’s been keeping his secret about his vigilante work is conveniently brushed off. “Though do I still count as just a stranger? I was starting to think we could be friends     or at least, acquaintances on pretty good terms.” He pretends to shake his head in disapproval.

Her last question has him pondering for a moment; not on the answer itself, but on whether or not he should be honest about it. “    Yeah,” he concedes after a moment, realizing it’d be best not to lie. “Always gotta keep an eye out for any trouble.” Robin smiles. “What’s your excuse?”

Evva really wishes his smile wasn’t contagious, but it’s a prayer that falls on deaf ears, for she mirrors the gesture almost as soon as she sees it. It’s hard to tell whether the eyeroll that follows is to that reaction or his words. “Just don’t make me regret it in the future.” It’s not the first time she’s told him that, but she reckons the reminder is always valid - especially when the nagging worry that she might be doing something dangerous won’t leave her mind, yet she couldn’t stop herself from doing it either. It was a way to cleanse her consciousness, sort of. “And I’m pretty sure there must be something wrong in talking - otherwise it wouldn’t be a secret of the night, don’t you think?” Her eyebrows raise in fake suspicion at his following words, but even if she’s trying to be mostly playful and teasing, there’s no denying the dash of actual curiosity that slips into her question: “do you think we’re friends? I just thought you were the brooding, lonely kind. The ones who think they’re over friends.”

She bites her tongue before saying that he doesn’t really seem to be too watchful of trouble right now, just nodding at his explanation instead. It is probably not wise to tease someone that much, especially someone she doesn’t really know? Besides, Evva doesn’t want him to feel offended and leave, either (even if she also knows that’s probably the wisest thing to do.) “I like stargazing,” she replies after a moment, choosing to focus on that rather than her mind’s rambles. “There’s something... comforting about the stars.” Her gaze shifts to the sky. “Ever taken the time to look at them?”
