Showcase - wide open spaces.

This was a personal coding project that didn't come to fruition but I was proud of the opening animation on scroll. I might eventually finish this up and release it as a premade but until then, it'll be a lil portfolio piece.

Unburied - Personal Project

My latest skin, this one was for a sandbox-y horror site I'm running that focus on "connecting the dots" and a riff on a family tree. It was a lot of fun and I included some easter eggs within the skin for members to find (links to pages that were horror movie themed). I really sought to try something new with this one and almost ended up selling it instead. However, I did go through with opening the site so it's for my use (for now). But let's make something together!

ROL V1 - This was my first foray back into the realm of forum coding after a 10-year hiatus of just focusing on writing. I had been incredibly inspired by the simplicity of Kon's use of outlines and shapes. I sought to emulate that here for ROL when we first opened. This skin also had a large font and dark version for accessibility, although some of those items didn't translate well in these screenshots. We eventually transitioned into darker skins for the theme of the site, but it was a good start back in 2019.

ROL V2

This was a big change from our V1 skin and introduced a lot of new elements in terms of additional graphics, custom fields, alternating avatar rows. It was also our attempt to move into a responsive desktop frame work rather than Jcink's mobile setting. It worked for a long while and we were quite happy with it!

ROL V3

This was a collaboration skin with my co-admin, and we were very proud of this one. With both a light and dark toggle, as well as header images and skin colors that changed with the membergroups, our goal was soft palettes to accommodate the bold member groups. We did use our v2 skin as a base, so some of the member list elements and items carried over - just so as not to shock our members too much with change.
