Book Update

It's been a few weeks since my novel A Tale of Dreams and Demons released. Yay!!!!

Based on my love of media like Percy Jackson, Eragon, Naruto, and a few other goofy shows of my youth. It's my take on a light novel (there is artwork inside).

So if you like books with a cringe fail teenage protagonist just trying her best as she faces trails and tribulations in a new world with a cast of fun characters. Check it out.

A member of an ally tribe. Claims to be a lover not a fighter. Be believes in the beauty of everyone and likes to pick out something he thinks is beautiful when flirting, his favorite halftime. The first time he met Spike as children he thought he was a girl with the most beautiful eyes, a mistake that will never be lived down. He has a twin sister, and the two couldn’t be more different.

Spike 

A member of an ally tribe. A young man with features as sharp as his tongue and wit, he often comes off as quite cold. Has a rivalry with Reginald over who is the better knife thrower. Despite how he acts around Dj, they’ve been friends since childhood. There is a rumor that Lupus is the one who named him.

A brash woman that believes she can handle any problem with her fists. Strong headed and a lover of fun. Loves her husband and twins. When it comes to raw power she believes no one can beat her. Lately she’s incorporated her girls into her training routine. To Johnathan’s annoyance she has become a somewhat secondary teacher to Melosia.

Johnathan

Lupus’ second in command and Melosia’s teacher. A skilled swordsman, diligent, hard working, but an extremely strict teacher. He's ambidextrous and despite being such a respectable younger man now he was quite the brat as a child.

“He thinks it’s funny leaving everything for me to do like a three year old that can’t even tie his own boots.”

Lupus

Melosia’s estranged uncle. A strange man that likes to avoid work at any cost. Sees a lot of his younger self in Mel and promised to take her on an adventure when she was younger. An expert on erasing his presence, making Jonathan's life much harder.

“This is Johnathan, my right-hand man second in command, nanny, and your teacher.”

Daniel 

A kind boy from the village and Mel’s first friend she makes. He enjoys spending his time tending to the horses and listening to Johnathan’s woes. Not a member of Lupus’ tribe but still helps out on missions sometimes. He’s a kind soul but scaredycat to his bones. 

“Keep it. It’s a sign of our friendship and a welcome present.”

Melosia

A young girl that is in love with the idea of adventure. She’s a serial quitter whenever she gets bored of a new hobby and distracted by a new one. The only thing she never gave up on is her daydreams of adventure. She had recently taken up daydreaming on her bicycle much to her mother’s annoyance. 

“Being a knight, traveling the lands, and punching a dragon.”

It tells the story of 15 year old Melosia, who dreams of escaping her normal boring life to go on the kind of adventures you see in stories.
