MARGOT ROBBIE - hair is always on point, loves to laugh and have fun!!!!!!! lives for the glitz and the glamour, has designs to become the fourth mrs. vardon but vardon is trying to set her up with victor, likes to play matchmaker, wants to see her brother marry her bff rebecca prior but he’s not interested, stubborn and spoiled, doesn’t like when things don’t go her way open.

MATT SMITH - sarcastic, impish, tells it like it is, doesn’t sugar coat things, likes to poke fun at everyone (himself included), teases his sister the most b/c it is so easy to do, loves her a lot but they fight a lot too, (or more accurately, she yells at him and he just finds it amusing), secretly has a budding interest in claire? but keeps that under wraps. reserved by lizzy

SAM CLAFLIN - dating saoirse ronan, the sass is strong with this one, impulsive and reckless, father once saved vardon’s life and was heavily rewarded, has more money than he knows what to do with, man child, drives super fast and recklessly, always having a good time, doesn’t like to talk about feelings or responsibilities, commitment issues, really likes saoirse but doesn’t take their relationship seriously, was honestly just as interested in dating her bff louisa but fassy is less intimidating than vardon so  /????? open.

MICHAEL FASSBENDER - was one of vera’s suitors b/f she left; fell in love with her! thought she might feel the same but when she left to avoid marrying it kind of broke his heart, pretends he’s over it but he isn’t, claire’s and soarise’s brother, does NOT like sam calflin, will probably murder him, has a TEMPER, everyone starts at 0 with him and has to earn his trust and respect, remembers the time before all of this too vividly, way too protective over the people he loves, since the priors have gone missing he wants to just keep his sisters locked up at home??? (doesn’t work so well but he tries) has been put in charge of the prior rescue mission. possibly will go the south himself. doesn’t know what he would do if he saw vera again??? open.

CLAIRE FOY - interested in victor crandon and has been for a long time, but is less interested in actually getting married or settling down. definitely doesn’t have the time to garner his interest now that his wife has betrayed him. the only woman in the capital to hold a position of power and isn’t about to do anything to get go of it, knows vardon sees her as incompetent still despite having proved herself, knows that, on some level, he does trust her to do her job since she’s still got it, head of public relations, out but she started out as a secretary and one day her boss was sick and died and she did his job for him and eventually got it, open.

SAORISE RONAN - bffs with louisa prior, dating sam, thinks she’s in love with him!!!! thinks it is more serious than it is, loves her siblings a lot, looks up to claire so!!! much!!!!!!!!!! honestly her role model, witty and clever! loves to laugh! can be judgmental of strangers  but is also blind to the faults of the people she loves, inspired by her sister and wants to do more with her life than just get married and be a good wife, doesn’t know what she wants to do?? impatient with the progress that has made to rescue the priors and possibly recruits her bf to try to sneak across the borders and rescue them themselves??? would be a terrible idea 10/10 would agree (saoirse and sam being the exceptions aka the only people impulsive enough to try it!) reserved by lizzy

schedule updates

So I'm thinking (already) of changing up my schedule for the year re: rp open dates. I feel like it might be a little much to open up ABTS in about a month and a half, so I think I'm going to push it back.

At the moment, I'm thinking:

September 2018: EBHS

April 2019: ABTS

August 2019: Pirates

Thoughts??? Idk where you wanna fit ur other one??? I know we were originally thinking July (which still works for me) or you could probably even move it up to June if you wanted. Or we can just play it by ear! (But I am finding that I feel like giving at least two months in between opening RPs is a good amount of time ... like it gives us enough time to really settle in and get attached so when a new rp comes along we are better about balancing them vs trading one for the other 👍🏻)

two sisters who live in a small cottage with a greenhouse where 1 paints and the other gardens. both super friendly and optimistic and probably smile wayyy too much according to their grumpy neighbor ...

man from the city who just lost his job ... inherited a large country house from his deceased uncle. HATES THE COUNTRY. thinks its stupid and uncultured.  plans to fix up and sell the house and use the profit to get his old life back. almost always in a bad mood. likes things a certain way. only listens to intense opera music. doesn’t know how to have a good time. also inherited guardianship of his cousin????? does NOT know how to parent. finds the teenager to be a loser and pretty annoying. is also “taking care” of him until he can find other arrangements for him. (by take care of it means that he largely ignores him and often forgets that he exists) 

LUCAS HEDGES??? WILL POULTER? seventeen yr old orphan who now has to live with his weird cousin. doesn’t seem him as weird tho and instead latches onto him and is excited to have a father figure???? is a total nerd. probably made them matching t-shirts meanwhile his cousin probably can’t remember his name. says things like “golly” and “gosh darn” where most kids just curse. the most rebellious thing he’s ever done is his life is stay up past his bedtime to get a headstart on a school project

he was super nice about it but it was still one of the worst moments of her life

honestly it broke her heart

pretends like it doesn’t bother her at all and has been pursuing xavier vardon ever since

probably a little too intensely because vardon is more eager to see her with his friend than himself

has NO intentions of marrying someone as boring as victor crandon!

sat next to him at dinner 1 time and it was the worst night of her life

can be super dramatic 

makes bigger deals out of the little disappointments that don’t really matter than the big ones that actually do

more likely to hear her complain for hours about how her pillows weren’t fluffed enough by the servants than to voice her worries about her best friend and the man she loves being held as prisoners!!

hasn’t said a word about it b/c doesn’t think she could keep it together if she thought about it

SO MANY REPRESSED EMOTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JESSICA BROWN FINDLAY - The Mom Friend, bakes a lot, knits you sweaters, tries to take care of eVERYONE, calls you on your shit, queen on the kitchen, will run you out with a broom if you infringe on her space, has 100% told jack lewis to “go to his room”,  has a unique sense of fashion, (think louisa clark from me before you), super optimistic!!!!, but also practical, WILL TURN THIS CAR AROUND, doesn’t understand ur personal space, will smother you with hugs and give you advice you didn’t ask for 

MICHAEL HUISMAN - hardworking and kind, bffs with seb gray and carey mulligan, has a thing for beatrice??? or virginia?? older bro of JBF, apologizes a lot for her, loves to read, super easy going, it is so rare to see him upset that it’s terrifying on those occasions when he does,

CAREY MULLIGAN - claire foy’s sister/matthias’s sister, super social and outgoing!!!! no filter so she says whatever first comes to her mind but it isn’t always what she means, worries a lot about her siblings! never worries enough about herself, loves the outdoors! if you keep her inside for too long she starts to freak out, has a thing for ren conway??? 

CHARLIE COX - charlotte’s bro, but in the south, if/when he hears about her situation will FREAK OUT, if JBF is the resistance mom friend, then charlie is the dad friend, makes bad jokes to try to cheer you up, “not mad just disappointed”, wants to know you made it home safely, a historian! trying to keep accurate and unbiased records of everything that has happened since people stopped keeping track, likes to interview people, has a million notes but no real rough draft, wants to go north to see his sister and do research there but knows that that would be a dangerous move considering he’s been in the south for so long

CLAIRE FOY -carey mulligan’s sister, has a quiet strength, wants more responsibility, possibly sick a lot???? people just want to protect her but she’s tired of that and wants to do something more!!!!! likes michael huisman, close friends with him but knows he looks at her like a second sister, bffs with JBF,

DAD #1 (actual dad) CHRIS EVANS (36) he and his gf had a baby their senior year of hs. he dropped out to get a job. eventually they moved in together and got married and had two more kids. none of his girls were planned but he loves all of them a LOT!!!!!! his wife died in a car accident ten years ago so that’s been fun. a sad puppy, just tries to do the best he can for his girld???? a little too over protective tbh ... calls and texts them all a lot. bad with technology. don’t point out that penelope is as old as he was when he started having kids!!! 

DAD #2 CHRIS HEMSWORTH (34) - bff of CHRIS EVANS. ALWAYS cracking jokes and making light of every situation. stand up comedian. moved in to help CHRIS EVANS when his wife died and he just needed an extra pair of hands. was supposed to be temporary but he ended up just staying???? loves the girls like they are his own. 

DAD #3 CHRIS PINE (37) - brother of CHRIS EVANS dead wife. moved in about a year ago after he and his gf broke up and he didn’t have any place to live. has always loved the girls but they remind him a lot of his dead sister so he kind of kept his distance for the last few years. also he’s never liked kids (or so he thinks ... turns out the girls now have him wrapped around his finger). thinks chris evans is too strict and he for sure lets the girls do things that their dad never would. can’t sit still!!!! adrenaline junkie. does stupid things. reckless!! impulsive!!!!! loves his motorcycle (spends a little too much time working on his hair) 

PENELOPE MITCHELL (18) sUPER ORGANIZED, neat freak, tries to be the Mom, kind of controlling, listens to her dad aLWAYS, once Chris Pine let her have desert b/f dinner and she still to this day feels guilty about that 1 act of rebellion, taking a bunch of college courses while still in hs, volunteers a lot, the best babysitter in town, overachiever, doesn’t sleep, sort of stressed 24/7 but is organized enough to schedule her breakdowns????? 

SAORISE RONAN (17) loves her older sister but always feels like she lives constantly in her shadow, tried to live up to being like PENELOPE, but could never come close, doesn’t realize how smart she is, sarcastic, a little rebellious, fights with her dad a lot b/c she’s not allowed to do anYTHING, queen of the eye roll, plays her music too loud, loves her sisters but hates sharing a room w/ them 

SOPHIE TURNER (16) the baby! she’s definitely spoiled!!! kind of dramatic, gets pouty when she doesn’t get what she wants, finds school super boring (spends most of it passing notes to her friends), doesn’t know what she wants to do when she graduates but that seems so far away just now, obsessed with boys, fashion game on point, constantly trying to help her sisters improve their look, has over 5000 followers on twitter, snapchat game is strong

was one of the first people to come to the city with her family in 1923 when it was just being built

was orphaned early on, however, and worked a lot of odd jobs trying to support herself

after gwen was married and had her first child with vardon, gwen was able to hire charlotte to help her with the baby

vardon was eager to make his wife happy but he didn’t trust just anyone with the care of his child 

he found her suitable but he wanted to make sure that his wife and child would be charlotte’s only priority

she is on call 24/7 and isn’t allowed to marry or have a family of her own until vardon’s daughters have grown

charlotte never thought she would want to get married or have children and so she hastily agreed to all of his conditions

she was happy to have a steady job where she could support herself

and she grew to adore gwen’s daughters as though they were her own

she met him working for the commander and they slowly became friends

over the years it developed into something more

despite her promise to vardon, the two of them secretly (and hastily) married 

howard had known xavier since they were both young and he had always said that xavier was the closest thing he had ever had to a brother 

he knew that he would eventually understand and forgive them both 

but he needed to wait until the right moment to say something

they both later admitted that they should have said something to him before they’d married, but howard was still certain that xavier would eventually come around 

neither of them counted on howard being kidnapped by the southern rebels, however

charlotte is desperate for any word of him and his sisters 

she fears for his life and his safety!!!!

and there’s no one she feels she can turn to!!!!

keeping a lot of emotions on the inside!!!! it isn’t easy!!!

she’s also fearing for her own safety 

she’s afraid that she might be pregnant and she doesn’t know what to do if vardon should find out before howard returns 

doesn’t??? know??? what??? vardon would do??? if he found out

isn’t sure if it would help or hurt to tell him who the father is 

hopes she isn’t pregnant and is just being paranoid
