I’m late as hell to this party but can I just gush about how absolutely adorable Fenton and Gandra were in season three?

They’re just so supportive and loving of each other regardless of what outsiders may think and they’ve always got each other’s back. Fenton sticking with Gandra and loving her despite the fact she is with FOWL because he knows the REAL her and that she isn’t this evil person just makes my heart absolutely melt. They just wanna explore more of the technological world together and create amazing things to help the world!

Seriously, thank you DuckTales for giving us another loving and healthy relationship, I didn’t know those still existed in media nowadays with peoples tendencies to normalize and romanticize incredibly toxic people and relationships.

this might be a hot take but idc. I think huey should’ve been in webby’s place and claimed the papyrus. 

hear me out. the show has spent the past 3 seasons quietly pointing out that the triplets are heirs to scrooges legacy. huey is smarter than the smarties, dewey is tougher than the toughies, and louie is sharper than the sharpies. these three are scrooges rightful heirs by all accounts. any one of them could’ve claimed it, and low and behold, huey was already at the lost library.

there was no reason to have to shoehorn webby into this. she had her found family. if they wanted to keep the clone plot, they could’ve made her a clone of beakley. aka the one constantly fighting F.O.W.L. she would’ve kept her granny and kept the found family with the mcducks.

THANK YOU for saying how dumb Webby's plot twist was. It destroys lots of character development for Webby and Scrooge, and the rightful heir thing was... disappointing to say the least

I just,,,, So now webby is as part of the family b/c she’s the clone daughter of scrooge? even though it was already resolved prior that she’s part of the family, without being blood related? lol ok frank whatever you say buddy

as for the “rightful heir” wow I hated that. it just feel like the crew is trying to make webby out to be more than she needs to be. she don’t need to be the clone daughter of scrooge and the rightful heir. scrooge doesn’t need an heir, and webby doesn’t need the family connection. she has her granny, who’s loved and cared for her for all her life. she has the mcduck clan as her CHOSEN FAMILY. 

webby and scrooge should only ever be uncle and neice, they’ve never needed to be anything more.

also can I just say I hated her calling him dad? her getting a dad is like, the triplets finding their bio dad. it DOESN’T need to happen.

ya know what, the twist that webby is scrooge’s daughter is a bad twist as it adds ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, but really strips away the whole found family they built up. it literally exists for their running gag of “wait, what?”

the show showed time and again that family isn’t who you’re born to but what you make it. having the 11th hour plot twist of “LOL she’s actually related all along this is where she belongs with her family!” kinda kicks that to the curb. 

cause it shouldn’t matter if she’s related!! it was proven time and again that webby is part of the mcduck family, she didn’t need the biological connection before. why shoehorn it in at the last minute??
