Dualscar shoved his way to the front of the crowd and swung his body onto the stage, stepping in front of the shackled Troll that had just a moment ago been the cause for numerous bids being thrown from the gathered audience. Said group was now dead silent as The Orphaner stared at the auctioneer with stone cold eyes. His armour was now weighted down by the forehead of the Troll standing weakly behind him, hands fastened behind his back, his bright clothing hanging on his hungry frame.

Calloused hands clenched into angry fists as Dualscar addressed the confused man behind the podium, “Don’t you pay attention..?” With no response, the captain turned to the crowd, his voice booming, “Don’t any of you know ANYTHING?!”

The Trolls cowered and backed away but didn’t dare leave or avert their gaze.

Turning abruptly to wrap his arms around the bruised Troll behind him, Dualscar presented them with something they had apparently all missed. This Troll, bearing the symbol of Gemini on his now dishevelled yellow bodysuit, had a fixture to keep his hair out of his face. A violet fixture.

Abrupt and panicked realization struck every attendant of the slave auction. Ahab’s Crosshairs was drawn. The autioneer’s hands went up. The audience covered their mouths.

“If you want to make some coin, you had best be sure it’s not off my Matesprit.”

I wanted this piece of DualPsii to exist, so I wrote it.

Traveling with the Psiioniic is usually quite pleasant; they get along famously, have each others’ backs, and are inseparable in everything they do.

This includes getting into trouble.

Sure, the Signless enjoys mischief making and he is often times the one orchestrating the next prank, but he just can’t wrap his head around the Psiioniic’s… thing with the highblood Orphaner Dualscar.

He goes with it because he’ll be damned if he lets his friend risk his hide alone, but he doesn’t do so without a good amount of vocalized reproof.

They stow away onto the pirate’s ship, hiding out in the cargo hold.

“I am all about sticking it to a well deserving highblood, but this is the third time we’ve snuck onto Dualscar’s ship.  I am beginning to think you have ulterior motives.”
