Ratman 3 (Final fantasy-kun) x Ratman!reader[No implied gender] Genre: fluff-ish? I dunno CW: kinda cringe, Beer A/N: broski is so silly, a silly billy even 

Laying down on the cold surface inside the Ivorys’ walls was..much less than entertaining to say the least. you sit up and look around and see all the other Ratmen asleep as you sigh about you lay back down, you notice that 3 is nowhere to be seen. You get up and head to the exit of the wall and squeeze through the small hole, you assumed to hear silence since the Ivorys’ were gone but you hear *TV static*?.

You walk over to the living room where the sound is emanating from, and you see 3 wide awake messing with the TV, flipping through channels, just infatuated.  You look outside to see that it is barely light outside damn it’s late, or is it early? Oh well. “You know what time it is right?” you ask him almost in a scolding fashion as his head snaps to you, clearly frightened by your sudden appearance “GAH- oh uhm…no?” he says tilting his head to the side a bit awkwardly smiling. You sigh and sit on the couch behind him as he is sitting in front of it “what are you even doing out at this time? Everyone’s asleep” he blinks slowly for a second, scratching his head "I really wanted to use a TV, I even know how to use it by heart by reading the manual so much” he can't read. But he still sounds somewhat proud of himself “ok” you stare at him for a bit and make eye contact, not really giving him a look just staring. He quickly gets flustered and looks back at the TV just staring at the static like it's the best thing he’s seen in his whole life “what's so special ‘bout this?” you ask him as you lean forward to get closer to the screen “dunno” he just replies you take your hand and pet his head a bit and he lest out a surprised SQUEAK and backs away “t-the hell!? You caught me w-way off guard!” he says in a panicked tone “so-rry” you apologize and look at him as he gets back into his original spot “can i put my hand on your head now?” you ask him as he waits for a second before responding “...f-fine” you smile a bit, not in a mocking way in a ‘YIPPIE’ way as you set your hand on his head and begin to pet him gently “thank you!” you smile as he looks down into his lap, trying not to show you his reddening face. You keep petting his head till you’ve had your fill and lay down on the couch “I'm gonna take a quick nap, m’kay?” you tell him as he finally looks up from his lap “o-ok” he gets up to help himself yo the Ivorys’ kitchen, grabbing himself some chips and actually cold beer! He goes back to his seat on the carpet and looks behind him at you, admiring your features before he goes back to looking at the staticky screen ”…..g’nite” he mumbles before digging into the bag of chips and drinking some of the beer, not more than 30 minutes later he has had 4 beers and is probably drunk enough to damn well fail a field sobriety test, not like that matters, he get up and goes back into the wall, not bothering to turn off the TV or clean up….

When you wake up, you see a familiar face of a certain catman, “heh” he chuckles under his breath, welp, there goes your plans for living (that was cringe)
