first of all thank you for the delicious doodles, I love your style ~

but could I ask how you go about learning/practicing art?

I'm thinking about getting into it myself but it's a bit intimidating with how much there is to learn and how much work it takes to get good at it, I'm not sure where to start...

do you have any advice for an absolute beginner? any materials or courses or whatever?

Thank ya thank ya :D!! When I was starting out, I used drawabox.com, which has free assignments and courses you can follow along with to get the fundamentals down!

Also, the youtuber Marc Brunet has a playlist for beginners on his channel that I rly love. I also recently watched a video called "improve your art in three steps | my study guide for consistent growth" by brokendraw on YouTube that I also thought was rly helpful!

Personally, my number one tip is to try to draw stuff you see, whether it's irl or a photo. Like I started out by trying to copy anime screenshots by looking at them and recreating what i saw onto paper. It helped me train my hand to be able to draw what I saw, and I also had a lot of fun doing it! And just practicing fundamentals can get super draining, so make sure to draw stuff that you find fun too! And even if you don't like what you make, every drawing/creation is progress! Even if it may not feel like it at times😅 I hope this helps! Good luck on your art journey💪
