“I’ll bring you some.” He smiled, turning his face to kiss the top of her head. “Anything else you need?”
Paige blushed again, considering the question before shaking her head.  “Nothing I can think of. I’ve got some blankets in my room that someone forgot in the hall closet, and my coat’s actually a decent pillow. I can show you around, but this is kinda what the whole place looks like,” she laughed.
"I'll bring you a pillow too, just so you're not missing out." He winked, looking around. "No, you've got a nice set up. It's something at least." He smiled, moving to walk around. "We could make it into a pretty cool pad for you."

Brett took Paige’s hand and walked with her towards the house, pulling out his phone he turned on the light as they made their way inside. “Remind me to bring you candles sometime.” He smiled, looking around and shining the light.
Paige pulled back the boards on the door, letting Brett in before rejoining him and taking his arm.  “That’d be cool,” she smiled.  “I was hoping there might be some in the attic, but I think my parents cleaned it out.”
"I'll bring you some." He smiled, turning his face to kiss the top of her head. "Anything else you need?"

Brett studied the house, smiling softly to himself. “So this is where you grew up?” He asked, turning to look at her. “Shall we go inside?” He asked, gesturing towards it.
Paige nodded.  “Yeah, this is the old family home.” Not that there was any family in it, anymore.  “Sure! You’ll have to use the light on your phone or something though, there’s no power so it’s pretty dark at night.”
Brett took Paige's hand and walked with her towards the house, pulling out his phone he turned on the light as they made their way inside. "Remind me to bring you candles sometime." He smiled, looking around and shining the light.

“I wouldn’t mind seeing it, who knows maybe I’ll be surprised.” He grinned, looking down at her. “Show me.”
“I guess we’ll see,” Paige agreed, walking through town at a slow pace with him at her side. Her family home was likely the subject of worried meetings of the neighborhood watch, wanting its dilapidated shell away from the manicured lawns and immaculate gardens that surrounded it. Either that, or no one really took much notice - it was Beacon Hills, after all.  “There we go,” she gestured.  “I’ve got the boards on the back door pried up but you can’t tell from looking at it.”
Brett studied the house, smiling softly to himself. "So this is where you grew up?" He asked, turning to look at her. "Shall we go inside?" He asked, gesturing towards it.

Moving out of the booth Brett helped Paige up and walked her out the door after paying and leaving a tip. Once outside he hooked his arm around hers. “So where to now, Paige?” He asked with a smile.
“That’s a good question,” she admitted, not having thought the night through any further. It had already been much more, and much better, than she had anticipated, so whatever they did next would be good with her.  “I’d offer to show you where I live, but I think one abandoned house probably looks like all the others.”
"I wouldn't mind seeing it, who knows maybe I'll be surprised." He grinned, looking down at her. "Show me."

The gym was not a priority for Nolan, he didn’t have the time or the money to make it worth his while; but when a close friend from work asked him to tag along for a day, who was he to say no? Which is how he ended up at Beacon Hill’s local Sports Gym, on his Friday off, standing around like a lost puppy until his friend finally made it.Â
In an effort to stay out of the way, he sat down in one of the chairslocated next to the front door,, watching idly as people came in and out with a comfortable familiarity he envied. Nolan recognized a few people from around town - kids from high school, friends of his father’s - but no one really set off any urgent alarm bells until he spotted a head of curly blond hair.Â
He didn’t even recognize the young man at first - it’d been years since he’d seen him and even then they’d only been around each other in the name of lacrosse - but there was no mistaking Brett Talbot for anyone else.Â
It was him. The Brett Talbot who somehow made his presence known even in a sea of jerseys and helmets. The Brett Talbot Monroe had recounted the death of like it was something to celebrate. The Brett Talbot he’d had a role in ending. Frozen in place, his heartbeat increased tenfold, eyes fixed intently on the handsome undead as he tried to collect his thoughts.Â
Brett was helping someone with their form when he heard the sound of an accelerated heartbeat. It wasn't uncommon at the gym for some people to push themselves to their limit.
But when he looked around to try and find them his brow furrowed when his eyes landed on someone just sitting in a chair. Walking over he raised a brow as he approached the young man.Â
"Are you okay?" He asked curiously.

Brett smiled, shaking his head her. He watched her finish the milkshake, fascinated by the red tint to her cheeks. At her words he smiled again and leaned over to kiss her.Â
“Ready to get out of here?” He asked softly.
Paige had to lean forward a little to meet his lips, but didn’t mind the effort one bit. Pulling back she grinned, nodding.  “Let’s do it.”
Moving out of the booth Brett helped Paige up and walked her out the door after paying and leaving a tip. Once outside he hooked his arm around hers. "So where to now, Paige?" He asked with a smile.

Closed starter for TaliaÂ
It hadn’t been hard to find Alpha Hale, after dropping her off where she’d needed to go he came back a few days later after finding his sister and deciding that he needed to do what was best for her. Being an omega was dangerous, you could easily get caught by hunters, other wolves. The odd’s were never in your favor, the stakes always high, and you were always running.Â
They’d been omegas once before, very briefly before Satomi had found them after the fire. She’d taken them in when they were still very young, she’d taught them control.Â
He wanted to ensure his sister’s survival so finding Talia he watched her for a moment before approaching.Â
“Alpha Hale, I wanted to ask you something if that’s alright.” He murmured.
Talia was sitting on a bench, searching a paper for apartments when her name was called. She needed somewhere to stay, since she could clearly not go back to her family home. “Brett. It’s nice to see you again, you’re well I hope?” She smiled. She was Satomi’s boy, she would always find time for him, having a soft spot for the Alpha, and therefore her foster son. “Sit down, what was it you wanted?”Â
Moving closer to the alpha Brett sat down next to her, "I found my sister." He murmured softly, looking over at her. "She's alive, but we haven't..we haven't found our Alpha. We're omegas now..and I need to keep her safe..." He whispered, lowering his head.

Brett shrugged, it had been a challenge but he’d managed it. He watched the other, curious. “Going back to school wouldn’t be a bad start to getting your life together.”
“Yeah it’s just…” Josh looked downward and frowned. “I mean I’m legally dead, it has been two years and I don’t know how…” He sighed. Besides, he liked it that way, no responsability, no hassle, well at least he thought he did.
“And I’m not sure if I can get to my family after… well.”Â
"It's Beacon Hill's, stranger things than dead kids suddenly showing up again have happened." He murmured, shrugging his shoulders. "If you need help doing anything, I can help."

“We’ll figure it out, Lori. I’ve always looked out for you and I won’t let us being omegas hurt us.” He murmured, kissing the top of her head.
“Hey, it’s my job to look out for you too.” She frowned, kissing his cheek as she hugged him. “I’m not so small that I can’t help out. I want to help Scott and Liam’s pack if I can, they’ve helped us enough before.”
Brett returned her hug, closing his eyes. "We'll do whatever we can, Lori." He whispered, making sure she knew they were going to try.

Brett hadn’t thought about that, he had a feeling if too many dead people showed back up they would have a real problem on their hands. As it was he had a feeling they already did.Â
“I’m managing, got a job. So it’s not all bad.”
“You found job after being gone for how long?” He frowned, himself, well for the law Josh was still dead and he didn’t know if he wanted to change that, it would mean having to shoulder responsibilities that for now, he didn’t feel like he could.Â
“I mean, I don’t know how to do shit and I haven’t even finished high-school.” Nor he was sure he ever would, much likely that was all he got as far as instruction went and he would have to work with it. That and the whole being a monster thing of course.
Brett shrugged, it had been a challenge but he'd managed it. He watched the other, curious. "Going back to school wouldn't be a bad start to getting your life together."

“I wasn’t a big milkshake drinker growing up but at least we can indulge now right?” He grinned, finishing off his burger and leaning back. “You’re pretty cool, Paige. I like you.” He smiled.
“Exactly,” Paige grinned.  “I’ve got my chance now, and I’m not going to miss it - you only live…well, twice in my case.” She wasn’t sure anyone other than Derek had ever called her cool, and she finished her sip of milkshake with red cheeks.  “That’s good to hear, since I like you too.”
Brett smiled, shaking his head her. He watched her finish the milkshake, fascinated by the red tint to her cheeks. At her words he smiled again and leaned over to kiss her.Â

Brett nodded, he remembered her children. He had seen one of them around town. “Derek, he works at the diner in town.” He murmured.
Talia smiled that he was still in town. “Then I suppose I should pay him a visit. I can’t wait to see him, thank you for telling me.”

Smiling back at the alpha he nodded, "I'm sure he'll be very happy to see you." He murmured softly.

Studying Josh Brett nodded, hearing that he had been gone with a captial G made him frown. “I see.” He murmured, “I understand, I went away too.” He murmured seriously. “But we’re back now, so things will get better.”
Josh nodded. “You did too?” He raised an eyebrow. Turns out that the phenomena had way more of a larger scale than what he expected. “I mean if so many people do, I wonder when we will start outnumbering the ones who didn’t.” Yeah the dead surely were more than the living, all things considered, if the resurrections continue the situation might get very awkward soon.
“I guess.” He frowned. Of course he was happy of being back and yet, sure he was breathing again, but to him it almost felt like his life hadn’t really begun anew.
“How are you? I mean how are you managing things?”
Brett hadn't thought about that, he had a feeling if too many dead people showed back up they would have a real problem on their hands. As it was he had a feeling they already did.Â

“Mmmm, that’s good.” He grinned, tilting his head and nodding at her comment on the milkshake. “I agree, that milkshake has everything beat.”
“I kind of want to look up my parents and yell at them for never buying me one before,” she joked softly. It was getting easier as time went on, to laugh about things that had hurt her to think about when she’d first come back. All she really hoped for her parents was that they had moved on, had rebuilt their lives after losing her. She’d never really look them up, not even to take a walk past their house - it was too risky. She downed the last few bites of her waffle and leaned back, patting her stomach.  “That’s more than I eat in a week, usually. But I’m not complaining.”
"I wasn't a big milkshake drinker growing up but at least we can indulge now right?" He grinned, finishing off his burger and leaning back. "You're pretty cool, Paige. I like you." He smiled.

Brett watched her take a bite with a grin, “It’s good isn’t it?” He asked softly, moving to take a bite of it himself. He chewed thoughtfully for a few moments before swallowing. “How’s your waffle?”
“Really nice,” she nodded, grabbing a napkin to dab at her mouth. She poured an unhealthy amount of syrup over her waffle and dug in, looking up at the question but having to stop and swallow before she could speak.  “Delicious. This milkshake might actually be better, though.”
"Mmmm, that's good." He grinned, tilting his head and nodding at her comment on the milkshake. "I agree, that milkshake has everything beat."
