being a fan of webcomics is so funny cause like

yeah sometimes an important chapter happens that does have the main character(s) in it cause its like a flashback or focused on another important character to help give context or recontextualize some things so then you dont see the main character(s) on screen for like several months or sometimes a year

like its so funny when the creator gets to go "and finally after a year we have the actual main pov back on screen" and then you realize that its been a year and then you realize that you hadnt even noticed its been a year

also, deer are simultaneously satan’s weakest and strongest soldiers. they die like hamsters or survive things that really should have killed them. biting the dust from an internal hemorrhage after jumping over a fence or surviving 10+ years with an arrow imbedded in their side. fate rolls the dice on every injury and they either get a 0 or a 20. keeping them alive is hard. killing them is also hard.
