hey I'm back with Sven angst

I already wrote a small analysis for this character, so I'll just copy and paste it

the idea is that Sven is literally in the crosshairs of the plot (not in innocence as in the original trend). he is literally constantly doomed to failure, because Henry, as the main character, is on the government's side, which means that the plot will go his way

in fact, without jokes, I think that Sven is a very interesting and even tragic character. he was already not taken seriously in the Toppat clan, and when he became the leader, he completely let everyone down. and he also had to take leadership into his own hands, because he is the only commander left in the clan, so he needed to take responsibility. even if he had remained in the leadership for a little longer, the stress would have still killed him

and it seems to me that Sven is too young and inexperienced to take such a burden on his shoulders

and yeah... as you can see... i changed my style a little again... Sven's design as well

i made several mistakes when i made this please ignore it, i don't like this very much but i spent too long on this. also i drew this in one sitting so my back and elbows feel like they are on fire because i draw laying on my bed instead of sitting at a desk like a normal person

MASSIVE shout-out to the person who liked and rebloged like everything on my blog AND on @thsc-x-omori-au. Made me realize that people actually like the shit I post and that made me cry.

Uhh- do I actually have reach in the THSC fandom? Like in the slightest? I know I'm one of the few people who are still in it, but it still makes me question sometimes. It's just- every once in awhile I see a piece of fanart and I could stg that it was at least somewhat inspired by another piece of fanart I made or a rant I posted, but idk, I'm probably just being a bit self-centered about it.

happy pride month guys. here's an old thing for @thsc-x-omori-au i drew from... *checks calendar* last year.

Despite the fact that we didn't want any ships to be cannon, (and the fact that it may be pretty toxic) I actually used to ship RW! HENRY and SVEN.

The thing in Svens top hat is (supposed to be) a purple hyacinth! Purple hyacinths symbolize grief and sorrow or "Please forgive me" (at least, according to Wikipedia). I guess this would take place in-game.

Yes! I don't know if you're referring to cannon or Telling The Truth, so here's both.

CANNNON:

-My head cannons for the character ages in cannon :3

-Uhh so fun fact, I drew Basil's little ahoge thing on Sven for Telling The Truth, but it actually kinda just stuck because I can't see him without it, so it's kinda a head cannon since it's not on his actual hair-? Idfk-

-Reginald, RHM, and Sven are all trilingual (meaning that you are fluent in 3 different languages). Reginald knows English, French, and ASL (yes, ASL counts as a separate language); RHM knows English, Spanish, and Japanese; and Sven knows Swedish, English, and German :3

-I added this in the old head cannon list, but it was after it got all of the notes it currently has. But, Reginald really likes vocaloid music, but he doesn't understand the Japanese lyrics, and doesn't care enough to look it up. RHM, however, is fluent in Japanese, and understands the lyrics to the music he is listening to. RHM doesn't have the heart to tell him.

-Henry wins in Toppat Civil Warfare.

-Additionally, the reason Reginald was so quick to accuse Henry without any evidence from Ellie in Toppat Civil Warfare is because he is/was actively looking for a reason to dethrone or at least demote Henry as the leader. Reginald does not believe Henry is capable as a leader except in endings like Toppat King and Toppat 4 Lyfe.

-jewel barron is the most cannon ending accept it.

TELLING THE TRUTH/AU:

(aka: things I want to be cannon, but haven't been discussed with Mod Star yet-)

-Post-Good end stuff about HENRY and SVEN

-So, similar to how the characters represent the 5 stages of grief in OMORI, I kinda also wanted the characters to represent different symptoms of depression, so like- HENRY would be oversleeping, RHM would be aggression, SVEN would be loss of interest (in things you used to like), you get the point.

-Uhh DMITRI and GRIGORI are dead. Not from the Toppat Clan or HENRY or something, they just died of natural causes a little before HENRY quits and stays inside for four years. This was the best solution I could come up with for "why wouldn't the Wall try to arrest HENRY after finding out that he isn't leaving his house".

-HENRY isn't moving away, he's getting evicted. He didn't have enough money to pay rent, so he's getting evicted. The reason why he was able to live for four years without working is because he sold the diamond pretending to be someone who found it.

-HENRY's friends do not forgive him right away in the good ending. They do eventually, but it takes several months. Multiple people in the Toppat Clan never forgive him.

This post and day is a reminder that people with schizophrenia are people too, and that the movies and TV shows that you and many others watch are going to be harmful stereotypes of schizophrenia almost 9 times out of 10.

We all know that characters with disabilities are not often represented in the media, and when they are, they are almost always portrayed negatively; Schizophrenia is one of the worst cases of this, unfortunately, as being one of the most negatively viewed conditions by the general public. Continuing to depict these types of stereotypes also creates an even worse negative stigma against people with schizophrenia.

By speaking out against these stereotypes, we can help restore how the general public views schizophrenia.
