The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.
Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.
So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.
Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.

Until you I never even noticed the ass knife and now I can’t unsee it. (I’ve watched SGA 17 times. This is a crime.) Thank you for your service.
Not sure I did until this blog. You won't unsee it and damn you'll miss it when it's not there😂

for @massharp1971 -- based on the prompt for Jinto's POV over the series.
The Lantean Sea is calm, the wind warm and gentle even out here on the pier. Jinto refuses to look away when Major Sheppard sits down next to him. “You’ve got everyone worried,” the Major says, leaning back on his hands. Frustration curls in Jinto’s stomach, big and angry and new. “Wex shouldn’t have said anything.” “He feels bad, after last time.” The Major doesn’t sound like he’s blaming anyone, but Jinto feels guilty all over again. “It’s not fair,” Jinto says. It’s all he can say. “I’m not going.”
