My list of things we wish to see in the second season of BNA: Brand New Animal:

More in-depth of beastmen's origins: Because of unique powers in Shirou (Ginrou I), Michiru, Nazuna (former Ginrou II), and Alan Sylvasta, the beastmen plausibly possess supernatural elements in their very nature. Though episode 3 established beastmen as a biological race in addition of being the closest living ancestor to humanity and even shared a similar evolutionary lineage to the boot, there's a chance of their existence happened to be the result of interference from "higher beings", perhaps ancient deities or similar entities, and True Blood Beastmen seemed to be aware with it more than everybody. As preposterous as it sounds, it's best not to overlook such possibility.

Solution to end the conflict between humanity and beastmen: As we learned from the show's first episode, it became apparent that the tension between both races reached to the extent where the possibility of them engaging an all-out war become more and more likely. Barbara Rose, the president of Anima City, has started the attempt to avert it by slowly allowing humans to enter her city so they can understand her kind better but, as it occurred in the final episode as we know it, we had no chance to learn whether it works out. If you ask me, it would be nice to see both races banded together against a common threatthreat someday.

Nazuna's redemption arc: As I figured out lately, a lot of Brand New Animal series fans still resented Nazuna because of how *****y she was back when affiliated with Silver Wolf Order as their guru and how she somewhat forgiven too easily (to be fair, she was misguided and manipulated most of the time as Michiru knows it). To avert this fact, the second season/sequel of the show must have a secondary or at least minor yet significant story arc focusing on Nazuna reflecting on her past errors and setting things right through her new reputation as Anima City's latest idol. I supposed it will be appropriate if in such story arc, she meets a rival who similar with her in many ways albeit depraved to the point of Nazuna unable to help but wonder how awful she was back then.

Real major human antagonists: Another thing that dismayed fans regarding the series was the plot twist of Alan being a beastman all along, specifically the True Blood variant who can completely masked their true nature. So, in addition of other True Blood Beastmen, there should be major antagonists on human side for real, perhaps in form of a radical, anti-beastmen terroristic faction led by someone who hold a strong grudge against beastmen who wronged him in the past. Oh, and it's best if such faction is not like Marvel Comics' Purifiers (which more like a zealous religious society).

Michiru and Nazuna exploring their beastmen powers: As trivial as it sounds, the idea of Michiru and Nazuna figuring out things they can do beside using powers and traits of other animals sounds pretty cool for me. We saw how Michiru's blood can cure beastmen of their Nirvasyl Syndrome and how their shapeshifting often accompanied by flashes of light, the latter which indicated light or energy manipulation ability among other things. Plus, Nazuna might need to learn some combat techniques perhaps from Michiru herself as unlike her best friend, her chance to win or at least survive a fight proved rather low as of now, if her confrontation with Nirvasyl Syndrome-affected Boris is any indication.
