I’ve seen hypothetical Good Omens fancasts that feature the lovely Richard Ayoade as Aziraphale; as such they are something that I’m 99.9% behind.

That lingering 0.1% is me wondering if I’d ever be able to unhear Moss every time he speaks.

…But maybe that wouldn’t be so bad.

Do you know what platforms (netflix, Amazon ect) good omens will be on when it releases? And can you to tell us how closely it's going to follow the book?

Amazon are paying for it, so I think it’s a dead certainty that it will be on Amazon.

It follows the book very closely, although it also includes things and people that Terry and I had talked about over the years as things we’d do if we made Good Omens into a film or into TV (a lot more angels, for a start), and it includes a sort of mini movie about Aziraphale and Crowley’s friendship over the last 6000 years, and I also did some stuff to the plot at the end to stop anyone who has read the book from becoming too complacent during the final episode.

What I want from the GO TV series

After Crowley gets out of the burning Bentley and is talking to everyone, part of his sleeve catches on fire, and Madame Tracy has to swat at it to put it out. Throughout the next fifteen minutes of the show, little bits of his suit keep bursting into flame, until every member of the cast has had to put it out at least once. Crowley notices none of this.

My most important question about the Gomens tv series:

Did they find an actual vintage 1926 Bentley to film with? Part 2: if so, how did they explain to whatever car nut for whom this bentley is a prized posession the scene where the car gets set on fire?

possibly one of my favorite moments from good omens is when crow and zira are driving to the nuns and aziraphale goes on a long, dramatic speech about good and evil, and how evil will always lose, and crowley considers this for a bit

and he just says

‘nah’
