A popular creator has just gotten into writing music. He decides to write a song about his own struggles with his neurodivergency, adhd specifically. This is the second song he has ever written. He cries when he listens to the full song for the first time. He releases the song and is met with people who love it, and people who make fun of the lyrics, and sure, some of the lyrics are a little weird, so it’s whatever. There’s always going to be people who don’t like the things you make. He shrugs it off and decides to hire some amateur animators to do a music video for the song, so that even after he pays them, they’ll be able to get other work in the animation industry because these people did a popular youtuber’s music video! complications happen in the animation, and he and the animators have to delay the release of the music video. he pays them for their extra time, and the animators have said that he was a pretty chill guy to work for. a rumor starts that hes underpaying the animators, and the lead animator has to literally tell everyone thats not true, and some people still don’t believe them. When the music video finally gets released, it‘s relentlessly mocked and bullied. A scene depicting a point in the youtuber’s journey with his adhd is turned into a pretty ableist meme. The animators are mocked, and he (presumably with their permission and agreement) takes down the video.

Imagine this was literally anyone else but dream! Thats not fucking okay! None of this is okay! Mask is a banger and I will personally fight anyone and everyone who thinks otherwise
