🌿                                    “  𝐨𝐡  𝐦𝐲  𝐠𝐨𝐝,    why  do  you  talk  so  fast  ?  ”        everything  in  contrast  to  her  southern  drawl  is  said  at  a  million  miles  per  hour,    andromeda  supposes,    but  lord  does  this  boy  talk  fast.    her  own  tone  is  not  accusatory,    but  rather  distraught  at  her  inability  to  keep  up.    her  eyebrows  pinch  with  worry,    eyes  flitting  across  his  face  as  if  this  gesture  alone  would  boost  her  comprehension  in  the  whirlwind  that  was  wally  west.    he’s  excited  —  there’s  no  crime  in  that  !  —  and  she  had  leaned  on  an  elbow,    nodding  attentively  to  watch  as  his  eyes  light  up.    until  he  got  excited.          “  i  genuinely  think  you’re  gonna  pass  out  if  you  don’t,    like,    pause.  ”            /           @lonesometm​  liked  for  a  starter  for  wally  !

             wally pauses, hesitates for what seems like a trillion minutes in his mind. he repeats her words over && over. many things cross his mind starting with the true answer: it’s a speedster thing ( though if you ask his mom, the redhead has always been like this since he could speak. he thanks iris )  “ oh my bad, i tend to ramble. stop me anytime. besides i used to run track, no unconscious redheads will be on your hands, andromeda.  ”  wally flashes her a smile, hoping she does indeed stop him in the future from rambling, it’s a terrible habit. he admits he is used to a team of people that can keep up with him however his old friends were on their own superhero path while he was off to college like a normal adult ( though a certain bird && bat are always near )   “ i’m just looking forward to working on this project with another person who is smart and not davis. ” his shoulders lift casually thinking about their classmate who wally is sure cheated his way into gotham u. “ again let me know anytime if i’m talking too fast. science gets me going.” and right on cue his goofy smile ghosts his lips for a moment.
