Needed a good cry so threw on Hospice by The Antlers. Intending to listen to only a few songs then sleep. I forgot how fucking devastating it is and am trying to not wake my roommates up by sobbing.

Thinking about my experience with The Magnus Archives’ ending. I had an inkling it wouldn’t end happily (I’m oblivious as hell) so had my best friend google the end just to see how bad it would be. She warned me to listen to it alone and that it wasn’t all roses.

Cut to the night of. I was painting and listening, checking the transcripts as needed. All I knew was I would probably cry, Jon was in a boat for a time, and someone stabbed someone. I had about 4 episodes to go. It took me a solid hour and a half to get through them.

I cried. So hard. Then went on tumblr, saw art and cried more. That’s about 2-3 solid hours of just straight up sobbing.

Cut to 3am. I wake up and go online again. Cut to another hour of crying. I then wake up at 5am and go to school. Still incredibly upset. I had a headache from how much I cried.

I really want to relisten but I just remember that and put it off…

I was hanging out with a few good friends and someone who doesn’t know me as well today and learned that the rule for me is “don’t ask”. Honestly couldn’t be more proud. It means I’ve gone on so many side rants and mentioned so many references it’s actually easier just to be confused than to ask

I’m imagining that when the Tonies were having their heart to heart in episode 42 at the end of each sentence they just stare directly at Jedidiah. Just directly into his eyes to truly make their point. For example: “I apologize Tony” STARE “That wasn’t very considerate of me” STARE.
