i had an ongoing DM with someone whose account is now deactivated, but they sent me messages that i left unread and now i can’t open the DM because their account is gone

i’ve tried to delete the conversation but it doesn’t work and now i just have three unread messages sitting in my inbox that i can’t open or delete and it’s very annoying, does anyone know how to get rid of them??

terrible tone control. absolutely absurd, thinks he's being sincere and kind meanwhile the other person is shaking in their boots with tears in their eyes. in his mind he's like 'wow i've gotten so much better at social interactions :D'

his resting bitch face is lethal i fear, accidental eye contact with him when he isn't talking or causing silly mischief is so terrifying, you'd think he's gonna get you at lunch with all his choir friends

he actually loves socialising, can handle a crowd very easily, but the moment it's one on one interaction it's like he got knocked down about five pegs or so, he still likes talking to literally anyone though, can talk an unnerving amount and keep the other person somewhat entertained, if not entirely

goes from 'NO DON'T TOUCH ME' and avoiding every single physical interaction possible to 'heyyy :(( hey why didn't anyone hug me today', he's so insanely touch starved you just gotta catch him at the right time to feed it

talk to him wrong and he's tearing up and huffing and crossing his arms, trying to look more angry than saddened

grits his teeth when he's nervous, can't help himself at all, it's a self-soothing thing

his teacher changed their teaching format and he cried because he wasn't prepared for it to be different and he couldn't understand it properly so he just laid his head on his arms and quietly cried

zones out so insanely hard when listening to music, he's walking in circles and stimming with his hands and he could go like that for literal hours with a consistent flow of music

loves wearing socks EXCEPT for when he's trying to sleep, it's just different somehow, he doesn't know why he just hates it and kicks them off in frustration every night, and only then is he able to fall asleep

idk if this is all strictly neurodivergent hcs but i hope i somewhat satiated you

i genuinely just need to rant but the lotf fandom has been in such a downfall recently and it’s making me some weird combination of disappointed, upset, disgusted, and just downright frustrated. i have no idea where it all started and have TRIED to stay out of the drama as best i could but can’t help but get roped into it every single time.

as of recently this lotf evil confessions blog that has risen up has caused nothing but trouble—and i’m not afraid to say that—within our small and fragile fandom. it may be a way for people to “let off steam” anonymously but it’s really just setting off sparks that do NOT need to be spread any further. i’m serious, if you have some weird fetishization or confession please keep it to yourself, i’m tired of hearing about all these abusive or sexual headcanons it’s so uncomfortable especially since these are CHILDREN.

misinformation spreads so quickly and i can’t even count how many accusations have been spread about people i know, causing them to leave the fandom even though said situation was not their fault at all. no matter where i go—tiktok, tumblr, ao3–it’s all the same shit over and over again. i do want to make it clear that i am NOT leaving the fandom, ive spent too much time on here and its a place that i have built a community in, despite its never ending flaws. however, im practically begging everyone to please get it together. i don’t understand why we can’t just be a group of people that talks about the book and enjoys the symbolism and yeah, maybe we indulge in some shipping in a NORMAL, NON-SEXUAL WAY. like can’t we just hold hands and skip around joyfully and whimsically or no.

i’m so sorry for everyone that has been threatened by other individuals and were innocent, you didn’t deserve that and we should really be focusing our attention on the real problematic people that DO need to be ejected from this fandom. anyways i just needed to get that out there and im happy to talk to anyone who disagrees, this is just my opinion and i’m not afraid to share it.
