Okay another quick update. After drafting a reviewing I've decided to cut a decent amount out of this chapter or else it would be way, way, way to big and rather exhausting to write. Im not talking 20k words, I think it will now be 20k words after the cut. Trust me, this is beneficial and I'll add those other scenes in later down the line. I wish I could tell everyone what exactly I'm cutting but trust, when it's published and you start to read you will quickly understand.

But, I've also been tweaking the chapter a bit. I've added new scenes and disregard my previous post. This chapter will be big. Like really big. I'm kinda mad because it just feels egregious that chapters these days are pretty much 20k words but I can't break it up cause it ruins it. I would also post a sneak peak but I decided to start writing in the middle of the chapter and I can't give that stuff out.

I'll keep updating when I can but trust it is coming!

Hi sorry for the late reply!

I have actually just started writing the next chapter. This one might be shorter than normal because I have had it prepped in mind for a long time. So typically after I publish a chapter I do take a break just to chill out, story board the next 2 or 3 chapters and just do a mental refresh. Sometimes this could be just 1 week until I start writing after the last publishment or it can be a month. When I wrote the Crypt chapters (38,39) there was roughly a three month period I didn't write anything because they were quite overwhelming and I needed them to be as close to perfect as I can manage.

Chapter 44 is also quite intense but I won't say why. So I did take just over a month break. Life can also get in the way with work, social commitments and mental health. So don't worry, 44 is coming and hopefully soon. I aim for it to be a smaller chapter and I'm quite excited for it so it may come out (from today) much faster than anticipated.
