if there was one thing andi loved more than thrift shopping, record searching, & turning her mothers’ old clothes into new ones for herself; it would be softball.  emily and jj signed her up for both tee ball and soccer when she six, you know where the boys and the girls play together and everyone gets a trophy well, andi took to tee ball like a duck to water ( she didn’t really care for soccer that much. not enough to continue playing once she grew out of little league at least ) . it was supposed to be something to keep her active as a child, especially when her moms were out of town every now and then and they knew leaving a grandchild with their grandparent could amount to her doing whatever she wanted.

from tee ball, to little league, to travel ball, to her middle school and now high school junior varsity team, andi’s been in love with the sport since the beginning. her team became a solace, a second family when hers was off doing their save the world thing and it’s one of the things that keeps her sane while her parents are gone. sure, they miss some games but andi doesn’t mind because she gets to tell them all about it when they get back and show them the videos her grandmothers and garcia make sure to get of her.  she spends a lot of time at the batting cages when emily and jj are gone and sometimes those solo practices are accompanied by an airpod in her ear and her phone strategically set up on a facetime call with the two so they can still be there with her -- she thinks those moments are even better than hearing them chant from the stands sometimes.

when they and the team are around, and most of the time they were luckily, they were always in the stands. between her blood family and the family that consisted of the team & their loved ones, andi’s fans took up an entire stand almost and she wouldn’t have it any other way ( no matter how embarrassing she’ll tell them they were after the game ). 

in addition, andi and her family are always at every other of the bau member’s kids sporting events as well, because, well, they’re family and that’s what families do.
