“no, bob. it’s not.” she sighs, her eyes hanging onto his gaze as a slow breath slips from between parted lips. lifting a single hand, it settled at his cheek as her thump follows the curve of his sharp jaw. “i can’t be those other girls for you. i... i simply don’t have the capability. and as much as i....” she stops herself as her jaw clenches. “i would’ve died for you if you asked me to.”
