Watching my children grow has been the most world changing for me. They started out in this world with challenges from the start. Starting out with my oldest was 23 weeks and 5 days and weighed 1 lbs and 1 ozs to start and my youngest was 31 weeks and weighed 3 lbs 6 ozs. Everything is for ever changing.

Preemie strong
Watching a premature baby fighting to survive and fight for life. Personally, I am a mother of two preemie babies one which was born at 23 weeks and 5 days and the other was born at 31 weeks. I ended up being diagnosed with preeclampsia. The NICU journey is something that is a struggle for all that are involved. I watched both my children fight for life, fight for a future. I watched their struggles to continue to be more. Often thinking about this makes me think about how as adults we don't fight like that anymore. As adults we shift our thoughts and focus. We no longer find that strength to fight through every battle as adult we give up which seems easier then finding strength to keep going. As adult we are willing to become complacent. We fight for a momentary moment, we no longer want to make changes. We give up on change and striding to become better and more. We no longer fight. As a wife and mother, I don't want to be complacent I was to fight like a preemie, I want to fight to keep changing for the better. Fight for more in this life. Fight as if it's my last breath. As I watch my children grow and change no matter what has happened to them they aren't jaded they still fight for a better future.
