This is just my life through a positive outlook. I try to post meaningful things that people can get messages out of and hopefully relate to their own experiences.

Go with the flow
Sometimes you just have to float. I’m a person that likes to have a plan and it absolutely kills me when things don’t go my way, but that isn’t how life works. Nothing is going to end up exactly how I planned, so this year I’m trying to learn how to relax. I want to have less stress in my life. Being so stressed in extremely unhealthy, and I really want to just make my life better. I’m cleansing myself of all the bad and just going with the flow. Hopefully it all turns out well.

“Friends”
Sometimes the people that you think are important to you just end up disappointing you, and that is okay. As we grow up, our friendship circles become smaller and smaller. Honestly, I haven’t been that close to many people in years, and it isn’t that I don’t have any friends. I know a lot of people and am actually very popular, but I can just never make myself open up to people so no one actually becomes a best friend. It’s more like people to hang out with and have parties with in big groups, but one on one talking about private things hasn’t been a thing for me. There are a lot of fake people that just love to gossip, and honestly, I just don’t want to be the topic of conversation. I always manage to fly under the radar without anyone noticing. I guess that’s okay, sometimes I wish that I was closer to people, but I think that it is also good that I am not becoming wrapped up in all the fake people around me. I’m in multiple group messages with a lot of people and some are made just to exclude others that are in another message. I’m sure there are some to exclude me as well, it’s just the way the world works. People are screwed up and it has taken me a long time to realize that it isn’t worth getting close to people unless you truly care about them and can see them being in your future in one way or another. What is the point of getting close to people you only intend on having in your life for a short period of time. Make sure the people around you are real and are actually worth having around. Make sure it is people that make you feel good inside and not like shit. Make sure it is people that actually care about you and actually want you to succeed in life. Also, get a pet. They are there for you like no one else can be. They are always there to snuggle and listen and they are ALWAYS on your side and think you are the best thing in the world, besides their treats of course!

Love
So this is going to seem extremely cheesy, but I really think I’ve found the man of my dreams. I am the happiest I have been in a really long time and everything is going really great right now. He has been my best friend for 9 years, half of my life, and we just got together a couple of months ago. It was a little strange at first, but we both just have this fatal attraction to each other that neither of us can control. We goof around a lot and have the best time together, but know how to be serious when the time comes. I’m just really happy right now and for the first time in a long time, I feel stress free and relaxed about my future. Everything is falling into place.

Looking Up
So my life has been more than great recently, things are looking up for me. The semester is coming to an end and I’ve been discovering a lot about myself. Sometimes it’s good to get different perspectives on things to help you figure things out about yourself. I also think I’m falling in love with my best friend. It’s just been wonderful and I’ve been so happy recently. As one door closes another one opens. So, it anyone is having a rough time right now, just keep looking up because it gets better, I promise!

Confused
So recently, I have been having a lot of hard decisions in my life. I changed my major in college, and I have been having a lot of boy issues. The only thing that has kept me grounded through the whole thing are my friends. I would not be able to stay happy and thrive like I am if my friends would not be here to support me through everything. So I just wanted to tell you all to always appreciate your friends and tell them thank you for all they do for you. You never realize how much they do for you until you really need them.

Enjoy every second
New and exciting things happen every day, so enjoy every minute of it! Take chances and get out of your comfort zone. It is good to feel a little strange sometimes because that is when the best things happen. Have an adventure and do something! It is never a bad time to begin. Cherish every second you have and keep smiling even in the bad times. Remember that everything happens for a reason.

You need sleep to function
So, I never realized until this week how important sleep is to keep functioning properly. I’m so used to running on barely any sleep. Well, if you want to stay happy and keep doing things to the best of your ability, it is okay to say no to the parties sometimes and TAKE A NAP! Have a good day everyone!

Don’t let challenges bring you down
So today was my first day of class, and I have to admit that it was a little rough. College is kind of scary for incoming freshman because everything is so new. Don’t let the challenges bring you down, let them push you to be better. You can do anything you set your mind to. Be the best you that you can be and keep on going because if you never stop, it will get easier. I promise. No matter what the challenge is, there is always a way to overcome it. Keep smiling and keep your head held up high.

It’s okay to just chill
Everyone needs time to relax. It is extremely important to just chill sometimes. Although it is fun to always be doing something, it will eventually get old. Make time to spend with yourself and just meditate on your life. Have a good time, but also relax as much as you have time for. It will keep you level headed. It may seem boring at times, but I promise time by yourself can be a good thing.

Be open to new experiences
You never know what can happen if you try something new. I just started college and there are so many new things that I have never done before. Always keep your mind open to everything because you never know if something amazing is going to happen. You could meet new people that will turn into your best friends, find a new hobby, or discover something new about yourself. Be open and trust your heart.

Keep having fun
Always remember to keep having fun! I tend to stress about a lot of things and prevent myself from having a good time because I am trying to be responsible. I really want to let go and start having more fun with my life. Although responsibilities are important, so if having a great time. Make memories while you can and start living in the moment if you aren’t already. Never give up and keep smiling. Start living. Start having fun. Start making memories. Start making life.

Learn to laugh
Hey guys, it is very important to always keep laughing. Laughter is the best medicine. It is also extremely important to laugh at yourself no matter what. Even if a situation may seem like the end of the world, it will all be okay. Never give up. It’s okay to giggle at your mistakes. I run into walls, fall down stairs, mess up all the time, and say the wrong thing quite frequently. The way I continue to be happy is to never stop laughing at all of my mistakes.

Missing Things
I have recently moved out to begin my life as an adult. Although I am extremely excited to be living on my own and start my own life, I do miss home a lot. It is okay to miss things and people. It helps just to think about all the good memories that have happened while you were there. Keep your head up and always smile no matter what happens. Everything will be okay. Have the best time you can and use every single moment to your advantage.
I really miss my little kitten tonight, so here is a super cute cat to make you all smile a little. My cat will actually do this to my dog and it is the cutest thing ever!!

Change
Change can be such a scary thing sometimes. Even good things can be scary when they are new. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try them though. It is okay to be afraid, but overcoming that fear can help you in so many ways. You can be led to great things. When one door closes, another one opens. Just think about all of the positive things when something seems new and scary. Keep smiling and keep your head up no matter the circumstance and things will work out how they are supposed to. Never give up!

Never Stop Smiling
It is very important to always smile. You never know what your smile can do for another person. Smiling at someone who is having a terrible day, can make them rethink things a little bit. Learn to laugh at yourself and accept the things you cannot change. The most important thing is to always look up to the bright side of things. God has a plan for everyone and even if it may seem a little bit glum now, things will get better. Appreciate what you have and never stop smiling. (:
The always smiling quokka is a perfect example and it is super cute!!
