The tap on the shoulder surprises him slightly, confusion only growing as he sees the stranger. James doesn’t quite know what to expect, that alone unsettles him. Something about her seemed---odd. It was a strange sense, a strange scent. Not that that would tell him much, but still, it made him feel hesitant. 

He eyes her a bit before offering an awkward smile, ❝Uh...Sure, I guess.❞

Many were arrogant, self-important, and thought themselves rulers of the world simply because they happened upon the fortune of being undead instead of simply dead. It was why, when Death was given the name of a known vampire, she enjoyed taking the time to find them. She always spoke to them before reaping their souls, of course; she would not judge prematurely whether a being must die purely based upon the misfortune of a vampiric condition. “Excuse me?” She asked, reaching out to tap her latest ‘task’ on the shoulder, “Could we speak for a moment?”

The amount of times James has intruded upon his neighbor’s home was likely ridiculous at this point. Not that Jongin ever seemed to mind, after all he always let him in. Something he might come to regret one of these days, quite possibly today. Because despite all the times the other has swatted him out of the kitchen, leaving him to sulk on the couch; today James has elected to ignore that rule. Instead opting to sit on the counter and annoy Jongin. ❝So,❞ he starts, trying to eye what the other is doing. ❝How’s it going? ❞
