The industrious Doozers from Jim Henson’s FRAGGLE ROCK.

I was fascinated by the concept behind these little guys. They were always building towers to nowhere—as it was the building itself that mattered, not the final result. If Fraggles didn’t occasionally come along and snack on the Doozers’ stuff—which was made of radish dust, the Fraggles’ favorite food—the Doozers would run out of space to build and die. So building was like breathing to them.

10 Jeffrey Dahmer Facts

Dahmer had become so well known for pranking in high school that his classmates would call it “doing a Dahmer”.

At only 6 years old Dahmer had to have surgery for a double hernia. This surgery coincided with the birth of his younger brother.

He was discharged from the army in 1981 for alcoholism. 

Legal experts estimated Dahmer’s IQ to be around 145(borderline genius status).

Dahmer was baptized in prison after becoming a born again christian. 

As a young child his father showed him what happens to bones in bleach/ Dahmer would later use this same technique on animal bones he collected. 

He committed his first murder 3 weeks after graduating high school.

Some of his favourite movies were the exorcist films and he even tried to subdue and attack Tracy Edwards while watching the 3rd film(The Exorcist III)

Dahmer was arrested in august of 1986 for masturbating in front of two young boys.

Dahmer was given the honor of naming his younger brother, he chose the name David. His brother has since changed his name.

Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy is a form of child abuse in which the parent or parents (usually and most commonly the mother) consistently take a child to the doctors or local hospital for urgent medical attention with symptoms falsified. The victims are most often between infancy and eight years of age and the mother often has a fascination with medical details and has most likely fabricated illnesses in the past and may even be a health professional herself. In extreme cases, the parent may starve the child, inflict vaginal or rectal injuries in order to produce bleeding, and put her blood into the child’s bloodstream. To no surprise, these extreme attempts at seeking medical urgency can lead to really serious injury/injuries and may even result in the death of the child. In some instances, the family pet may even fall victim, with the pet owner consistently taking the pet to the veterinarian for a variety of vague or fake symptoms. Usually, the owner is fishing for attention and sympathy. Unfortunately, the prevalence of Munchhausen’s syndrome is unknown at this time, probably due to the difficulty of identifying actual illnesses as opposed to the fabricated ones.

Cases of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy:

Blanca Montano — Infected her daughter with fecal matter and various other bacterias while her daughter was in the hospital.  

Kathy Bush — Intentionally gave her daughter extra doses of medicine in order to take her to the emergency room to be treated.

Lacey Spears — Poisoned her son with salt through a feeding tube.

Dee Dee Blancharde — Claimed her daughter suffered from multiple conditions such as muscular dystrophy, leukaemia and asthma in order to attract sympathy from outsiders and help and money from others.
