The girl crossed her arms and listening to him. “Really?” That was not like JD but at the same time, she was honestly impressed that he was understanding all of this, of course. “If you are here that means that…Heather can also be here and Kurt, and Ram…you have any idea how all of that is going to be if they ended up also like you, well, you know, alive and all?” She does was still a bit terried of her former best friend and enemy at the same time, everything was calm and now if she shows up, she knew she was going to blame her and hell, yes, she also has the fault not just JD.

she was right, veronica had always been right and jd should have listened to her more. he sighs, his lips pursing together. the idea of chandler or one of the boys coming back, that was absolutely not a good thing. he was entirely unsure as to what he would do if that happened. but he wants to reassure veronica, to give her some sort of comfort in the possibility of that happening. he bites his lip, hands moving to the pockets of his black coat that flaps gently in the breeze.  “  i know. it won’t be good.  ”  come on, jason dean, think of something better to say!  “  i never thought something like this would happen, i-  ”  he pauses before sighing once again.  “  i never wanted this to happen. i never thought my actions would come back to bite me in the ass.  ”  they never had before. he’d moved from school to school with no consequence of anything and yet now it was all coming crashing down on him.  “  and i hate to say it, but i don’t think they’d listen if we said it was all my fault.  ”

“do you ever stop and think that maybe part of the problem is you have hundreds of thousands of people thinking one piece of trash isn’t a big deal? and that you’re just as much of a problem for all the trash here as any one of them.” persephone asked, not at all changed by the woman’s words. she felt ready to lash out, to cause damage to the city she had just entered, but she was not like zeus or ares, or even poseidon, who just acted without thinking. instead the goddess took a steadying breath, regaining her compusur with a small smile. the gesture did not make her look much happier than she had previously appeared. “one day, when you make this earth inhabitable it will be able to recover itself over time. i can’t imagine the same will occur for the human population.” and then, to top it all off persephone would be in the underworld for half the year, and would still get to berate them for what they’d done. 

a retort goes to leave the former duck’s lips, but she stops herself cold and takes a breath. lena didn’t want to get into a fight, she wasn’t exactly the violent type unless extremely necessary. she got enough berating from her ‘aunt’ magica, so she didn’t really feel like getting scolded by another woman. a shake of her head has the girl smiling slightly, a hand coming up to run through her hair with a motion of slight bother and annoyance, though masked behind a rather convincing grin.  “  you’re right. i’m sorry. i’m just so used to it it’s almost force of habit at the point.  ”  holding her hand out, lena gestures for the wrapped to be handed over.  “  i’ll take care of it, really. it’s not a big deal for me.  ”

kazuo nods his head. he’s heard of people living on boats, but he’s never really seen it, so he was a bit curious about it. he was going to ask more about it when the other speaks once again, kazuo’s blank expression not giving too much way about his persona, possibly because he didn’t have one like most people did. he raises an eyebrow at the other with his words.  “  not particularly  ,  i’m thinking a bit about my old life and where i come from, but i don’t see how that correlates.  ”

tink had been hoping that she’d see him ever since she’d arrived in washington. it had been the strangest experience to be without him after the two of them being a team for so long. but she was glad he was so happy to see her. she’d always liked his carefree and fun loving attitude. “it’s very weird here and it’s not my favorite. i want to go back to neverland. i don’t even have my wings here. but it’ll be better now that you’re here at least. i’ve been here for like….a week or something.”

he’d been hoping to run into someone he knew, and god was he glad it was tink. he knew how much she liked attention as well as her slightly jealous streak, so when he heard how long she’d been here, he’s a bit surprised. a week may not seem like a long time, but for peter, who never grew up, any real passage of time is a bit jarring.  “  just like you’re missing your wings, this place forced me to grow up a bit.  ”  he assumed his age now was somewhere in the late teens, maybe early twenties, but he wasn’t exactly sure.  “  i want to go back to wonderland too, i already miss it and i just got here.  ”

“Hmm”  L looked up at a board deciding what to order.  he had all the time in line to think about it but he hadn’t.  Now he was here holding the lineup.  he could hear the discontent behind him.  “I think I’ll have the lemon cake and a tea”  He nodded.   Moving aside he waited for his order.  He started to look at his phone going over his own privet investigation in it.  He moved so the other person could make way for whoever was behind them.  He ran right into someone dropping his phone.  “Oh sorry” He muttered bending down to grab his phone.

he’d been caught up in his own thoughts, completely unaware of the familiar face who stood directly in front of him in line. all he wanted was some coffee, and yet he was bumped into by a man who was absorbed in his phone. what a generation, light thinks to himself, having been from about ten years in the past, he was surprised at how much had changed in such a short period of time. he smiles in a faux manner, slightly mocking, a side effect he hadn’t been able to drop from his time back as kira. he shakes his head.  “  no need to apolog-  ”  he stops as he gets a good look at the man. there was no way.  “  ... despite centuries of practice the transitions were, for lack of a better word, always a little weird. the first month or so, when her mind was in one place that her location didn’t fit. the queen of the underworld didn’t belong walking around mortals like thing, and the bloom of spring wasn’t quite heavy enough to shake that feeling. it wasn’t that she had an issue being down with her husband, or even being up here. both were aspects of her life that persephone quite cherished. that did not make switching from one to the other much easier. she handled it quietly. she wished her mother was here, demeter always knew how to bring the gift of the earth and the living back to persephone when she needed it. walking along the streets in silence, persephone examined her location, tried to determine why she was stuck there, or maybe just find a park to grow some flowers, when she spotted litter floating to the ground. “hey, stop! did you drop this? you can’t just leave your trash wherever you like. do you think the world just exists to be your stomping ground?” she said, holding up the wrapper with an icy glare, a spring goddess left with the personality of the dead.

lena  hadn’t  exactly  had  a  good  time  here  in  washington  ,  spending  time  by  herself  once  again  ,  away  from  the  familiar  comfort  of  spending  time  with  webby  and  the  triplets.  even  lacking  magica  ,  her  aunt  ,  was  difficult  for  her  ,  though  she  welcomed  being  free  from  magica’s  influence.  she’d  found  a  job  working  at  a  pawn  shop  and  being  surrounded  by  interesting  objects  with  their  own  stories  ,  something  she’d  come  to  appreciate  from  time  with  webby.  though  at  heart  ,  she  was  still  the  same  old  lena  ,  proven  when  she’d  thrown  the  wrapper  to  her  gum  to  the  floor  ,  only  stopping  when  she  heard  someone  tell  her  to  stop.  the  once  -  duck  turns  around  and  raises  an  eyebrow.  ❝  it’s  just  a  gum  wrapper  ,  calm  down.  not  like  it’ll  make  that  big   of  a  difference  with  all  the  trash  that  gets  thrown  round  all  the  time.  ❞

Pirate cove had never been livelier in Neverland before he was banished when that blasted beast was finally killed.

(¸.• ♛ → Veronica would be lying if she says that when he died it didn’t hurt because it did, she was in love with him and she would say that JD was someone she loved truly, the only bad thing or well, the horrible thing is how things ended and why. She has so many emotions right now that she didn’t know how to handle so when he began speaking and touched her hand, she didnt move but she was mostly in shock. If the death is back then maybe Heather can be back as well and everything that happened was going to follow her here, she was afraid of that but right now what matters is who is with her, here, JD. “Yeah..” She muttered, it was impossible for her to forget what happened back in Westerburg because it was still fresh in her mind. “I just…I thought I was never going to see you again, I think this place has something to do with, well, you being here…” And maybe more people were going to be up as well. “I’m sorry I just…I’m not sure how I’m feeling right now.” Is not like she wishes him the worst but they didn’t end like in good terms. “You know how…how everything end…”

veronica  was  so  special  to  him  ,  the  first  hope  in  humanity  he’d  ever  had  ,  the  first  woman  he’d  truly  loved.  he  finds  himself  so  captivated  by  her  every  time  he  sees her  ,  he  had  been  so  convinced  that  his  death  was  the  end  ,  that  he’d  never  see  her  again  ,  but  here  she  was  ,  here  they  were  !!  he  wanted  a  second  chance  ,  something  to  prove  that  he’d  changed  ,  something  to  prove  that  he’d  learnt  his  lesson.  he  looks  towards  her  with  the  most  foreign  softness  in  his  eyes  ,  lips  pressing  into    line  as  he  nods  his  head  a  few  times.    ❝  i  understand  ,  really  ,  i  understand.  you  don’t  need  to  explain.  ❞  he  assures  her  ,  a  soft  smile  appearing  upon  his  lips.    ❝  if  you  need  time  or  ,  or  anything  ,  i  totally  understand.    ❞  prior  to  the  confrontation  in  westerburg  ,  he  would  never  say  that  ,  but  jd  has  truly  changed  ,  jd  has  become  more  comfortable  , more  trusting  of  veronica.  though  there  was  still  a  pull  that  he  wanted  to  just  wrap  his  arms  around  her  ,  but  he  would  hold  back  .  .  .
