스노우보드 웨어 브랜드 DIMITO 에서 지난 9월23일 청담에 위치한 @Be-Hive 에서 열린 2011 SSFF (Seoul Sub Culture Film Festival) 에 오프닝 작품으로 상영된 ‘Surf The Limit’입니다. 대한민국 No.1 커스텀 페인팅사인 Pigment House 와 함께 서핑보드를 도색하는 섬세하고 정교한 작업의 메이킹 과장을 담았습니다.

HYPEBEAST

Fixed gear bikes have grown exponentially in Asia over the last few years. Becoming a common sight among many of the big metropolitan areas as well as tier two cities, the South Korean capital of Seoul recently hosted its 2011 Trick Jam competition. A video by LOWANGLEWORKS together with Yong Min Kim and Jae Hyeok Lee does a great job of capturing the raucous crowd with some slow motion cinematographic effects.

2011 SEOUL TRICK JAM

2011년 6월 19일 서울 보라매 공원 익스트림파크에서 언노운바이크 주최로 2nd SEOUL TRICK JAM 이 있었다. 픽스드기어 바이크 탑 트리커들이 모여서 자리를 빛내었다. 이번에는 프로와 아마추어로 나누어서 진행하였다. 메달리스트들은 아래와 같다.

이번 대회는 작년 2010 SEOUL TRICK JAM 과는 다르게 라이더들의 실력이 성장한 것을 확인 할 수 있었을 뿐더러 참가선수들의 인원으로 비추어 보아 한국 픽시드기어 씬의 비약적인 발전을 체감 할 수 있었던 대회였다.

KIST Mural is designing our future I Grafiti Artist XEVA 

‘꿈 + 열정 x 과학 = 미래’ 라는 슬로건 아래 “2011 미래를 여는 KIST 벽화공모전을 열었다. 총 17개 팀이 지원하여 1차예선을 거쳐 ‘컬러모션, 유승백, 글.그림 , 인터섹션, 기린’ 5팀이 선정되었다. 5개팀은 20여일간의 벽화작업을 진행하였다.

수상

최종심사는 KIST 연구원들의 선호도 조사와 1차 심사점수를 합산하여 가려졌는데, 633명이 참여한 조사에서 221표를 받은 유승백 작가가 1위를 차지하여, 상금 500만원과 트로피와 대상이 돌아갔다.

그래피티

아트스트 유승백 작가의 이 작품은 공모전의 대상 타이틀과 동시에 국내 그래피티 역사상 가장 큰 면적에 작업을 한 아티스트 타이틀까지 거머쥐게 되었다.‘자연과 함계 발전하는 과학’ 이란 주제로 사슴,독수리,판다 등 동물들을 작가의 기존 작품의 연장선인 프리즘 아트워크로 승화시켜 기계적이지만 과학적인 느낌의 비주얼로 사람들에게 보여주며, 아인슈타인과 현재 사람들의 모습 또한 사실적이고 세련되었다’

Happy 100th Issue I InStyle Korea

인스타일 창간 100호 전시와 디너파티 현장이 생생하게 담겨있는 영상이다.

  청담에 위치한 ‘The RAUM’ 에서 스타 100 인의 아이덴티티를 담은 전시와 개그맨 남희석의 재치있는 사회로 시작된 디너, 그리고 꿈 속을 걷는 듯한 박정현의 축하무대와 피아니스트 이루마의 감미로운 연주가 있었다.

 100호 발간을 기념하여 문근영, 김태희, 김남주로 구성된 국내 톱 여배우 3명이 참여한 세가지의 커버스토리와 함께 국내 스타 100인이 참여한 스타화보집 ‘100 STAR CRAFT를 발간하는 대규모 프로젝트 진행하였다.

 원빈, 이병헌, 송승헌, 동방신기, 한채영, 고현정, FX, 비스트 등이 참여한 인스타일 100호 화보집 STAR CRAFT는 ‘스타’와 ‘공예.제작물’ 을 결합한 말로 스타들이 기획 단계부터 직접 참여하는 것은 물론 그 어디에서도 찾아 볼 수 있는 그들만 소소한 일상부터 가족, 취미 등을 공개하는 콘셉트이다.
