Heathers AU

Okay, so just a small note before we get to it:

I wanted this post to be focused on the musical-version of Veronica and J.D.’s relationship, since it’s the thing that left the biggest impression on me.

So I obviously wanted Luna to be Veronica. The problem was- who’ll be J.D.?

My first thought was Rath, because of the Luna x Rath ship, but I wasn’t able to see Rath’s acting like a homicidal edge-lord…Entering- Merula, the only character I was able to see as J.D.

But the thought of a love story between Luna and Merula almost caused me physical pain, so I had to go to the Gender-Swap AU, because in that AU - Lukas and Merulon are sorta romantically involved to a certain extent.

tl;dr - it’s a Heathers AU and a Gender-Swap AU at the same time. Lukas is Veronica and Merulon is J.D.

(I recommend listening to the songs while reading the text, even though I didn’t use the full lyrics.)

In this universe, Angelo is more cheerful and kind than all the others, his behavior is optimistic, charismatic and very hardworking. In this version, Angelo's father, Charles is alive and even with the work of Auror, he endeavored to create Angel and Jacob with much love and affection, to make up for Leonor's death when he was six years old.

Always very kind and diligent, Angel prefers to believe that everyone has a bright side, and never gives people less than 23 chances. Especially with Jacob when he gets involved with the Cursed Vaults, he wants to understand, help and save his brother at any cost, even if it hurts and frustrates him.

He never cared about the provocations, insults or threats he received at home or at Hogwarts, which earned him the nickname "Angel Sunshine" (and the fact that he is wearing his yellow office sweater "I Love Cookies" all the time) , wants friendships with everyone around him and loves to hug, often without asking permission by taking his friends by surprise. His defect, speaking more than he should, he asks a lot of questions and if he doesn't say "Angel shut up" he can talk without stopping, which made him lose his breath sometimes.

He is also the most empathic of all, doing the impossible to make his friends happy, no matter what, also very sensitive, crying easily for any reason (he is crying because his favorite yellow gardenia, which he received as a gift from the teacher Sprout in the first year withered when he forgot to take her out of the sun), if he sees a friend crying, he will cry too.

It is the one that most shows feelings, is not afraid to show them and does not isolate himself when he is sad, he looks for his friends (usually Roger [Ravenclaw] @hphm-roger, who listens to him in silence while he cries on his shoulder), and when he is happy he distributes hugs and laughter for everyone. And he is willing to help everyone without any respect, his motto "The best reward is the smile on the face of someone you helped".

He loves to make new friends and he will definitely check if everyone is well during breakfast. But don't think that just because he is sweet and kind, he won't defend his friends with magic, nails and teeth, even if it costs his own life.

it’s been a while since i last wrote about leah. it seems to me that i wasn’t entirely sure whether i should do it or leave the idea completely. however, i found the courage to tell you something about my kid... so here it is.

you may probably know that she has a huge crush on barnaby.. yes, they do like each other romantically, but in my headcanon they’re not dating (yet). the 6th year is freaking insane and leah desperately needs attention from barnaby, but he’s busy becoming a renaissance wizard and then the circle of khanna is arranged and then the castelobruxo student is here .... you get the idea. on the other hand, jae and leah start to hang out more often than usual, they have a great time at detention, they have become real close. leah deeply cherishes their friendship. one day jae gave her his hoodie and....leah started to feel something.......

long story short, leah temporarily has a tiny crush on jae

Dear Dear Mother

“What about you, Rebecca?”

Rebecca snapped out of her thoughts, her eyes moving from her book to the faces of her dormmates, staring at her expectedly. Shifting at the sudden attention, she bit out, “What about me?”

“What’s your mum like?” Penny asked with a smile, her blonde hair free of its braids and flowing over her shoulders. “We’ve been talking for a while and you haven’t once spoken up.”

A knot seemed to form in her stomach as she remembered exactly what they were talking about. Their families and apparently that included their mothers. She mentioned her father a few times in the conversation and never her mother so it’s really no wonder they were curious. “Oh,” she said, closing her book so she won’t risk tearing out the pages. “Didn’t think I’ll have to say anything. Um… she’s strict, but she loves both of us all the same-”

“So like my mum then,” Tonks piped up, then spoke in a mocking voice, “‘Stand up straight! Don’t slouch!’”

“Tonks, don’t interrupt her!”

But Rebecca was laughing, glad that Tonks was there to pull her out of her head. “It’s fine, it’s fine. Yeah she’s kinda like that. She was pretty strict when it comes to magic in the house since we live near a muggle town so we do things by hand. She was never too big when it comes to physical contact - only on special occasions and um…”  She shifted uncomfortably, her eyes down at her lap. “She w’- great,” she finished awkwardly. 

“She sounds great, Rebecca,” Chiara said quietly. “Think we can meet her sometime?”

Rebecca’s face fell, then looked away, her expression dimming. And just like that… “I don’t think you can.”

Penny tilted her head. “Why not?”

Rebecca bit her lip, thinking to the very moment when her mother stopped being her, never returning to the mother she was before.

“HIS EYES,” Rana roared in her face, the stinging of her pain smashing into her before she can think, mad eyes bulging wildly, “YOU STOOOOLE HIS EYES. HIS EYESSSSS.”

Turning back to her dormmates, she gave a fake smile.

“You can’t exactly meet her when she’s not around anymore.”
