Be Right Back

Hi there,

This is my first time posting directly to Tumblr, so apologies if this isn’t quite the usual way of doing things. But since I've been so active here over the past few years with queued posts & reblogs, I wanted to give you a quick update.

I’m going to be logging off Tumblr and a few other social platforms for a little while. During this time, I won’t be able to see or queue up your artwork as I normally would - although there are still a few posts scheduled to go up. 

First and foremost I want to say just how much I have truly appreciated seeing your creations - it brings me so much happiness that the content I've made can still inspire so many others. When I'm back, I’m really looking forward to catching up with it all.

There are a few reasons behind this, but the main one is my mental health. Content has felt tough since, honestly, last year - for a lot of reasons. It’s probably been one of my hardest years yet. I had really hoped that this year would feel lighter, but lately things have been heading in the opposite direction, and social media has felt like one of the biggest factors.

Some of that is probably the usual seasonal dip in viewership and engagement too - which is normal (even if it’s a little disheartening at times) and totally to be expected. However this time has felt a little different and heavier than normal. It’s difficult to explain exactly what has changed in the community, but something has felt off for a while and it has made me second guess myself more often than I should. I'm very mindful that my RSD and imposter syndrome could be part of it. However, even so, it has been difficult to shake. To take care of myself and force myself away from this, I feel it’s best to step back from the platforms I spend a lot of time on right now, which includes Tumblr. I truly love seeing your artwork here and I hope you continue creating.  

It feels like the right time to set some boundaries for myself and shift my focus back to simply creating, without getting caught up in the ongoing conversations about myself and my content. I hope you understand and I'll be back when I'm in a better headspace for it. 

So for now, i’ll be seeing you on Youtube & Twitch - Take care & see you soon! X

Hi tumblr, I GRADUATED 🥹

1st class honours in Animation🎓

Its been a tough 3 years, i struggled so much with motivation to create at times and wanted to give up (hence the HUGE gap in art between 2023 and now), which makes me all the more proud to have been able to walk across that stage🥹

The past few months have been extra special for me, completing my degree, starting streaming, getting affiliate, making new friends, drawing more, cc seeing my drawings?!??!?! (Being perceived is SCARY)

Its been sooooo fun and im so excited to start working forwards to the future (even if its super uncertain💔)

WE DID IT JOE!!!

This month has been so crazy thank you everyone who has seen my art this month, its been alot drawing (almost) every day but its also the first drawing challenge ive fully finished, even though there were alot of pieces i wish i spent more time on i am so proud of myself for being able to get through this especially during such a busy time of year for me!!

I wanna especially thank the hermit a day account for their lovely messages when reblogging my art!! They are one of my fav things to read when coming back to post and have been a great motivation for me to continue

As for what now, i want to keep drawing every day if i can!! Ive never had more motivation to create and i hope i can continue to improve and draw more (also thinking of compiling all my timelapses together into a video if anyone wants that x)

As its the final day have a special sneak peak at a rig im about to work on for a little animation🤭 (very convinent it is etho day today too LOL)
