I try to pay attention, but in the evening - when the house is noisy & I'm getting tired - I sometimes lose focus.

Noticed an error in this cable last night, so I went to bed thinking I could live with it. This morning, dropped the 24 stitch cable back 22 rows. Fixed the error. Some stitches are a little loose, but I think blocking will take care of that. No way I'll finish the piece on time.

This pic shows the cable fairly well, but this isn't the true color at all.

Maybe I should post stuff a bit more often. I‘m always so in awe of everyones knitting, scared me a bit to share my own.

So here‘s two smoll cat hats I knit for my friends little ones. Hope they‘ll like them❤️.

My finished Sister of Sin dress for Ghost. This dress features over 5,000 hand placed beads, a hand embroider tapestry, tambour embroidery, beetlewing embroidery and embossed velvet. I'm currently working on another SoS dress💜

The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.

Signed up for a test knit of a cabled blanket and ordered the yarn. Waiting, waiting. While waiting, practicing the cable with scrap yarn.

I'll need to swatch but think I may need a bigger needle. This is US#7 at the bottom, US#8 at the top.
