On Lucia's desk this morning is a small basket with a blue ribbon around the handle. There's a light cloth covering the top, showing that the deliverer thought to take care to preserve it lest she decide that a slice of cake almost dripping with rum is not her idea of a good breakfast. It's accompanied by a La Noscean orange and, if she listens, a hiccuping Lord Commander is in his office- and is likely the culprit.

A light smile graced her lips as she looked in the basket, the smell of sweet chocolate and rum wafting up. She did not normally eat anything of the overly sugar variety - particularly this early in the morning - but maybe if she sneaked in a few bites....Judging by the sounds coming from underneath the door, someone had certainly wasted no time in tucking in. 

Shaking her head with an amused expression, Lucia folded the blanket back a little further, delicately lifting the plate out and helping herself to a generous portion of the slice. Chewing slowly she stared thoughtfully at the door, almost with an intensity that perhaps Aymeric could even feel it through the thick wood. Though the work that had piled up on the desk overnight would have to be seen to first, she would most definitely find the time to repay the gesture.

Anyways, for those who actually paid attention to this blog still you’ll notice I’ve been gone for a long time. This is on account of me moving, leaving me without internet for three weeks. The entire time I avoided tumblr like the plague so I wouldn’t see spoilers.

But now I’m caught up! Mostly, anyways. And I plan to slowly return to activity on this blog. Please look forward to it!

I’m disappointing that Lucia didn’t show up, but not entirely unsurprised. I theorize its for two reasons A) They forgot about her like they did with thancred this patch, apparently (seriously, where the fuck did he go? what the fuck?) and then they’ll play it off as she had to take care of Ishgard while Aymeric is away which is...reasonable, tbh. 

B) she might have some special interaction with Nero later down the road and they’re delaying that? I’d like to headcannon this as so, but it’s still so soon to tell....
