My pop culture spirits (I don't really feel comfy calling them deities) just make me happy and that's enough. I literally don't need anything more, although they offer it, I don't need it and the only thing I want is their presence and I'm glad I'm alive in the right moment of humankind to experience their existence. :))

I remember having an argument with a friend about why I would worship a very specific lesser known deity, an obscure daemon, pop culture deity or just a spirit. His argument was "Why would you do that? That would take a lot energy. What does that give you? It doesn't benefit you!"

And I want to take a moment and remind y'all that sometimes it's good to just worship. To appreciate. Show your devotion and love without asking for anything in exchange. Without expecting anything.

Just to show your love to a spirit!

This song is so Asmodeus and Tezcatlipoca coded. "Pesado/Pesao" is like. Like someone with a good amount of power and just doesn't give a fuck so u better think twice before messing with that person. It has a criminal connotation, but in the Mexican brujería circles it refers to someone with HUGE power and/or kills. Like- you just know. Hard to translate without losing some meaning tho.

Today I went to pick up my meds to the hospital's pharmacy and hshdjdhdhs the pharmacist saw my Lucifer sigil tattoo and said "YOU ROOTING FOR THE DEVIL TOO?" with such joy. I don't see Lucifer as a devil but I know what he meant given the context. Then he showed me his own tattoo, same place as mine. And we had a good laugh and good moment. It made my day.

I think it's the first time someone says something positive AND supportive about my tattoo. Also the first time I met another Lucifernist in person.

It made my day after a hard diagnosis. It made me feel welcomed. We exist!
