"I wasn't aware you had a good side," his words held a taunting to them as he shifted ever so slightly in his seat. "Should I run in terror now? Is that what most would do in this circumstance?" Lucius brought his mug to his lips, sipping on his coffee briefly. "Never said you did, and correct me if I'm wrong but it does sound as though you're threatening me. I would hate for you to realize much too late, not to underestimate me."
"Would be a downright shame," he agreed, setting his mug back down. "I somehow think we'd find a way to survive though."
“You really are trying to get on my bad site, honey, aren’t you?”, Alecto asked amused with a little grin gracing her rosy lips, “because that you’re doing really well.” She was definitely nobody who liked being called similar to anyone. That wasn’t compatible with her outstanding self-confidence. “Well, I have to prove you nothing. If you can’t take the measure of me correctly, that’s not really my problem, eventually. But if I can give you a friendly advise, from friend to friend: better do not challenge me if you want to keep you pretty face. I wouldn’t like having to misfeature it.”
The brunet chuckled amused. “Well, he better behave then. It would be quite a shame if we had to punish him then. Without him hunting muggles and mud bloods wouldn’t be as much fun as it is right now.”

"I wouldn't use the term 'chasing after her' to describe our relationship, but if you will." Lucius remained calm, arms crossed behind his back. "You'd be surprised by what I can get done when I set my mind to it. I shall have to have a word with her about that, eventually. It is, for a while but then that charm tends to become outdated."
“That’s what everyone says, but I’m used to it. Cissy always was the one with everyone chasing after her,” Andromeda shrugged. “Good luck with that. I’ve yet to master keeping tabs on that one. She’s never been good with telling people her plans, though I suppose the mystery is part of her charm.”

"Amycus, is it me or have you become much too bitter over the past few years? Surely you know how to loosen up a little, we're not in the middle of a battlefield as of now." Lucius' words filled with sarcasm as he moved to set the second glass in front of Amycus. "I'd like to think I have quite the humor, the light of the party even."
Amycus clenched his jaw while looking away from Lucius, what was the goal here? Was Lucius doing this on purpose, trying to push his buttons? Was Lucius looking for him to snap? When he spoke again Amycus slowly turned towards him, not saying anything for a moment, his eyes instead focusing on Lucius’ glass. He didn’t leave his gaze there for too long, fearing that focusing on the object would cause it to shatter if he continued to grow angry. “Funny.” He spat, focusing on rolling his sleeves, “very funny.”

“I have no reason to go out of my way to impress you, Amycus either.” Lucius’ tone took a turn for the bitter, his fingers curling around his glass as he brought it up to his lips. He knew he was crossing a thin line by bringing up Alecto, but given that it was his home and the likelihood of Amycus doing anything because of it was very slim. “Funny how quickly our demeanor can change so quickly, as if the simplest of things can trigger something in our minds. It’s odd to me given that I’m an only child for something such as the slightest discussion would spark such a response.”
“I’m not the one being ungrateful and frankly quite rude to my guest. I have no reason to apologize.” Amycus shrugged looking at the couch, it was boring, but most heirlooms were, for some reason you just couldn’t get rid of them, which was why had had several terrible paintings hiding in his house. The mention of his sister being unfortunate brought him into a more serious mood. Alecto was only a fun conversation when he was speaking about her, he didn’t want to talk about her or her misfortunes with Lucius, especially if Lucius was going to say that he himself was her misfortune.“She’s fine.” He said sharply, growing slightly annoyed.

"Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't it I that should be doing the forgiving here? After all, it is you that is breaking and entering." Lucius mocked, of course he was well aware that neither were of the forgiving nature but it was amusing nonetheless to kid about such a thing. "Yes, about as interesting as any family heirloom can be which isn't all that interesting." Pushing himself off his chair, Lucius moved to pour him and Amycus a glass. "Perhaps I should be thanking your sister instead for having the unfortunates of having to put up with you for the last 20 some years."
“I’ll forgive you this time, it is after all, in my nature to be forgiving.” A smirk played on his lips, it wasn’t in his nature to be forgiving and everyone knew that. He looked at the couch, a bit more impressed with it than he had been before, “Interesting.” He commented, running his fingers over the fabric, “You’re thanking me for continuing to put up with you despite the fact that you’re worse than my darling sister.”

"Something far more important, I'll have you know. Are you now? Somehow I've failed to see that, do forgive me." He rolled his eyes with a pleased expression as Amycus removed his shoes. "I do doubt that, considering this is a family heirloom with specs of gold. What am I thanking you for again?"
“Lucius what would you be doing right now without my company? Witting here alone, brooding about your deep, dark, and sad life? I’m saving you.” He sighed dramatically, shifting slightly so that he could pull his shoes off. “Those are Italian, worth more than you couch. But you’re welcome.” He set them on the floor, then returned to lounging across the couch.

"Because it seems you enjoy only showing up when you're not needed as opposed to the preferred. I'm not big on negotiation. That would definitely help."
“Now now, why more straight to removal? Let’s try some negotiation first. Would you feel differently about my having to move if I removed my shoes from your furniture?”

"Most definitely," he nodded. "What can I say? I'm a man that knows what he wants, nothing personal love," Lucius chuckled. "One of these days I'll learn how to keep tabs on her, might take me a few years. Sounds like her, I suppose this is how I'll learn to test my own patience."
“Well there is a first time for everything, isn’t there?” she mused, tucking her hair behind her ears. “Of course it is, should have known, shouldn’t I? Everyone’s always looking for one sister or the other,” Andromeda sighed. “Sorry to disappoint but I haven’t the slightest idea where she went. Perhaps Paris? She mentioned a shopping trip awhile back. I must admit, I’m surprised you don’t know her whereabouts.”

"You'd be surprised, you're not much different from the rest of your peers that you shared a dorm with. But I do suppose bits and pieces standout," a smirk etched its way onto Lucius' features. "You have yet to do anything to prove me to see you in a different light." Leaning forward, elbows propped on his lap and hands crossed before him. "That is the right way to go about looking at things, but you ought to be careful with who you speak to in such a manner," he challenged, licking his lips as he signaled for the bartender to come over. "You and me both, you and me both. He might end up dead, if he's not cautious." The words came out in a joking manner, but there was a hint of seriousness to his tone.
“Is it really so easy to muddle me up with anyone else? I’ve always seen myself as sort of unique”, Alecto responded with an amused smirk gracing her rosy lips, “so I’m quite disappointed that you see it totally different.” Of course, she was only joking. She didn’t really care how he saw her and how not. “Of course I have. The best only belongs to the best, don’t you think?” Cheekily she gave him a wink, before she grabbed her glas of fire whiskey. “Sadly, I don’t know. He disappeared in the morning with an mysterious smile and I haven’t seen him since.” She shrugged. “But I hope for him that he’ll be back soon. Otherwise he’ll get to know me in a not nice way. Leaving without a further word. Dumbass.” The last words she murmured more than she spoke them out loud. She idolized her brother and hated being distinct from him.

“So, here I take it that you’d prefer for me to take it upon myself to remove you from the premises.” His lips curled into a smirk at the sight of Amycus, arms crossing over his chest.
“I’d love to, really I would. Unfortunately I just got comfortable, so the likelihood of me moving so soon is rather unlikely.”

"It was bound to happen eventually, what a surprise that it's something to do with yours truly," Lucius smirked, leaning back into the chair and making himself comfortable. "Don't get your hopes up too high, it's in regards of your sister. You don't happen to know where she might've run off to this time?"
“Well at least we have one thing we can agree on with absolutely no argument,” Andromeda mused, shutting her book before turning her attention fully to Lucius. “I’m officially intrigued. What is it you have to ask of little old me?”

"Ah Alecto, I hadn't seen it was you," Lucius' lips curled into a smirk as he moved to a seat across from the Carrow twin. "Suppose I could, though you and I both know that you've managed to snatch yourself the best seat in the house. Do tell me where your brother has been, I haven't seen him around as of late."
“Oh, it is? And do I look like i even care, Lucius?” Interrogatively Alecto raised an eyebrow and tilted her head liminal to have a better look at him. “As a gentleman you wouldn’t mind finding yourself another place to sit, would you?”

"Dearest Andromeda, you do know politeness has never quite been my forte, why should that change now? However, I have more important things to ask of you." Lucius continued to speak with confidence, moving to take a seat across from the middle Black daughter.
Andromeda didn’t have to look up from her book, she recognized the voice immediately. “Lucius, if you’d like someone to do something for you, you really should be more polite.”

"The only explanation, really. I know exactly how, you simply don't unless you're doing something to please me as requested. Like now, I'm in need of a coffee and you seem to be fully capable of talking out of your ass to go get me one."
“I think it might be because we’re peasants. We just don’t know how to handle spending time with all of you with your crowns up your arses. But you’re right, your highness, I should get back to doing things your delicate hands are too afraid of doing.”
