hello it’s a here! I was looking through my bookmarks & I thought of a cool idea to post a rec with 10 fics under 10k for a quick read anytime, anywhere! Enjoy!

Harry Styles, the drum major of his school's marching band, is dating Louis Tomlinson, the trumpet section leader. Louis has pretty bad asthma which comes with plenty of asthma attacks, especially during marching season.

Harry is concerned about Louis all through practice, worried that he'll have an attack during a run and he won't notice.

(Or the one where Louis and Harry are band nerds and Louis has an asthma attack, which sends Harry into super boyfriend mode.)

It’s as he’s smoking on their shitty little balcony that it really dawns on Louis. These thoughts he’s having are about Alex’s boyfriend. His brother’s boyfriend. Louis is an awful person. He’s always been the kind of person to want what he can’t have and while he’s never wanted anything like this, he can’t stop thinking about it now. How small he’d look next to Harry. How he could easily pin Louis to a wall. How good his long, thick fingers would feel on him, in him . He feels his dick twitch and leans against the cold glass door leading back into the house.

I have finally found the time to rec this beautiful gem I came across weeks ago! I absolutely adore university au’s & this one takes the cake. I adore how unforgiving this boy is in this fix considering how the other one deals with him, which makes you want to know what happens in the end!!! Looking at the summary, you would think “player” would be such a negative connotation, but it’s not which is so refreshing to read. Since that tends to be overdone a bit much in some fics I have read. Not going to lie, I’ve definitely read this more than once ever since I found it weeks ago. So what are you doing there reading this still??? Get on to clicking & read it!!! A definite fav of mine!! -a

Hold onto your seat belts people because this is an emotional roller coaster. I don’t know what caught my eye with this story because I’ve never veered AUs that are put in the future with Louis & Harry not on good terms probably because my fragile heart cannot take the pain, but I’m sure glad I read this precious gem. Every chapter is just written so good with emotion, which in my opinion is quite hard to find nowadays. Each chapter just hits you more and more making you want to know what’s going to happen in the end. And I honestly didn’t think the ending was going to happen because of what Louis was dealing with. All in all, this is such a good read & I really want to visit this world again because it’s so good in a nice little package. Bless, happy readings! -a

A bit of a disclaimer here, the author who wrote this decided to drop the story and delete, but louloubaby92 (bless her soul) asked for permission to bring the story back & edit it. She explains it better in the notes in Chapter 1. Either way, this story is wonderfully written. I just came across it either on Tumblr or on AO3 skimming as usual because that’s what I do in my daily activities. I was a bit hesitant since this was a heavy story right from the beginning and it really does take a lot of from me to get into a story. It’s a definite tearjerker & if you have the time, this a definite read! It’s been awhile since I’ve read this one, so hopefully my upcoming posts have better reviews! Hope you like this one!
