michael:
“Well actually, you technically got your nap.” Michael observed with a soft smile. “No problem. I think I was worried you might have drowned, that would have been a super embarrassing way to go.”
“Touche, my dear. Touche.” Lucy sighed, pushing her hair behind her ear. She probably looked like a mess. Sleeping at her dinner table all by herself. Absolutely ridiculous. “I would hope I’d go out with more of a bang. Drowning in soup does have a quiet finesse to it though. I’ve still got a lot of living to do though.”

raven:
Raven finds herself giggling as quietly as she can as Lucy stirs. She didn’t want to startle the other but she also didn’t want her waking up to someone laughing in her face. “You sure, babe? You were a few seconds short of taking a soup bath,” she tells with a small smile. “What’s got you all tuckered out?” She asks in a concerned tone of voice, taking the seat across from her now.
“A soup bath? Is that a new facial or something?” Lucy asked, still half asleep from her little nap. But she soon realized what Raven was talking about when she looked down at the soup in front of her. “Oh...” She pushed the soup away and looked back up at Raven. “It’s just work. Life. I usually have gallons of coffee and/or a nap. I had neither today.”

trixie:
As soon as the other shot up Trixie jumped a little. The hand used to keep her head from falling into her soup pulling back to rest on her own heart. “Apples and oranges?” She questioned, a little curious as to why that was the first thing she shouted out upon sitting up. “Um..– truthfully, I have no idea. I was on my way out and saw you about to become a dumb ways to die moment by drowning in your soup so I thought I’d help you out. Your makeup look is much too cute to be ruined by a murky looking soup.”
“I was frolicking around an orchard,” Lucy said in explanation, waving off the girls confusion. It had been a very nice dream, but she was happy she didn’t go tumbling into her soup. She touched the back of her hand to the corner of her mouth, hoping she hadn’t started drooling. “Well, thank you. For saving me and my make-up. Honestly, it’s been on since four this morning. I’m surprised I still look presentable.”

bash:
“looks like you’re awake now.”
“Where you dropped on your head as a child?!” Lucy yelled, totally making a scene in the restaurant. She grabbed her napkin and started blotting at the soup on her face. “You could have tapped me on the shoulder or put an ice cube down my dress you psycho!”

wednesday:
at her suggestions she gave a drunken smile thinking of the possibitlies; “what dvds do you own? -i’m down to watch whatever.. - your house your choice.” she added; giving a nod.
“Pretty much any romantic comedy and Hallmark movie you can think of. Also heartwarming sports movies. I apparently have very niche interests when it comes to movies. I think I just like hot men and women.” Lucy chuckled with a shrug. “You’re the sad one. You get to pick.”

ethan:
“Okay, good, I should be fine then. And no, but you looked like you weren’t going to eat it due to the fact you were falling asleep so who am I to let a good bowl of butternut squash go to waste?”
“Don’t worry, I’d tell you if you smell.” She promised, taking a sip of the water on her table. “Leftovers are a thing. I could have eaten it later,” she argued for the sake of arguing. She wasn’t hungry and she didn’t mind him eating the soup. “Is it good?” she asked with a yawn.

alec:
having just picked up a take out order, alec was about to leave the restaurant when he noticed lucy sitting by herself and almost falling asleep where she sat. he knew if he was in this position, he wouldn’t want to be seen going face first into a bowl of soup so he went over and tapped her shoulder lightly. “still having troubles with that sleep schedule?”
“Sleep?” Lucy asked groggily, lifting her head and the light tap of her shoulder. “Yes, sleep is nice.” That did not actually answer Alec’s question, and after a few moments, Lucy’s brain caught up with the question. “Yes. I was up very early this morning and I didn’t get my usual nap or coffee.”

aidan:
When he had been told that a customer was about to make his restaurant their new bedroom, Aidan had to peek out from around his office to see if it was anyone he knew. Upon noticing it was Lucy he offered to check on her. Making it to the table just in time to save the soup he sat across from her, coffee in hand. “While I’m all for sleep, I can let you know that these tables are probably the worst places to use as a bed.” He joked before pushing the mug towards her. “Coffee?”
Lucy’s head bobbed before she looked up at Aidan with a yawn. “It sounds like you speak from experience. Have you slept on these tables before?” She asked, covering another yawn with a hand. Hey eyes locked on the coffee. “Oh my god, I could kiss you right now,” she took the mug and drank half of it in a few big gulps.

raven:
She couldn’t sit with herself if she didn’t move to help Lucy, the poor woman was likely exhausted beyond measure and about to ruin a whole head of hair in that soup. “Luce, babe,” she calls gently, moving her meal away from her. “Are you alright there, sugar?” She asks, gently placing a hand on the woman’s shoulder.
“I want the werewolf,” Lucy mumbled as the soft hand was placed on her shoulder. “Not the - Not the -” Lucy jumped in her seat, waking up to the soft cooing of Raven’s voice. “What?” She glanced around and then up at Raven with a confused look on her face. “Hey... I’m- I’m alright,” Lucy said with a yawn. “How are you?”

trixie:
Trixie had actually been on her way out when she noticed the drooping figure. She’d hoped a small tap to the other’s shoulders would be efficient, but when her head started to tilt towards her bowl she’s quick to take the seat in front of her and dart her hand in front of the bowl to catch her falling head. “Excuse me?” She tried, her voice growing in volume as she looked around. “Miss..— are you okay?”
Lucy’s head hit the hand in front of the bowl and she shot up. “Apples and oranges!” She exclaimed, looking around the table. She had been alone and now there was a young, beautiful girl sitting across from her. “Me? Yeah. Of course. I’m fine.” Just as she finished, a large yawn escaped her lips. “How long was I out?”

theo:
at the girl’s state; theo rose a brow, “you good? i’m not sure how good hot soup will feel on your face- maybe you should lay down- preferably not in a soup bowl.”
“Hmm...?” Lucy’s head bobbed before she sat up. “I’m good. I’m good, I’ve just had a long day.” She pushed the soup bowl away from her while yawning. “Want it? It’s free soup.”

michael:
Michael took a step back when the woman started yelling, eyes darting around nervously in case she caught anyone’s attention. He didn’t want anyone to think he was pestering her, he just wanted to make sure she was dying or anything. “Erm, I asked if you were okay…You were kinda…nearly head first in your soup.”
“Oh,” Lucy frowned and used the back of her hand to wipe some drool from the corner of her lip. “I’m okay. I’ve just had... a very long day. I wake up early and survive on coffee and naps and I didn’t get either today,” Lucy explained with a yawn. “Thank you. For saving me from my soup I mean.”

ethan:
Sitting across from her, taking the bowl Ethan scrunched his face in confusion? “What? No? Shit- do I smell again or something? I swear I am a very hygienic person and have a home. Just a big fan of butternut squash soup.”
“I mean, I haven’t smelled you from here yet. Do you normally go around asking people to eat their food?” She asked, rubbing her hand down her face, still waking up from her little nap.

michael:
“Excuse me,” Michael called, concern washing over his face. “Are you okay?”
“No! I don’t want any pistachios!” Lucy yelled as she was woken from her sleep. She realized she had been dreaming and looked over to the young man. “I’m sorry, did you say something?”

“Not to be rude or anything but…since you seem to be a bit preoccupied. Are you gonna eat that?”
“Huh?” Lucy jolted awake at the sound of Ethan’s voice, wondering where he came from. Life came back to her. “Oh, um...” She looked down at the soup and pushed it his direction. “All yours. Are you homeless or something? Do you need help, hun?”
